    摘要： A sound absorbent barrier has a sound absorbent layer disposed between a porous first cover and a second cover. The barrier also has a waterproof sound-permeable membrane between the first cover and the sound absorbent layer. The sound absorbent layer is thus protected from damage by the first and second covers and water ingress is prevented by the sound permeable membrane. The second cover may be non-porous to reflect sound waves which have passed through the sound absorbent layer back through the sound absorbent layer. Alternatively, the second cover may be porous to enable absorption of sound from two directions.

    摘要： Speed Sand 90 is a device designed to quickly and efficiently create accurate ninety-degree angles while sanding new drywall. The device may be modular and/or a non-modular. The non-modular version may comprise two main parts: a replacement pad and a tool portion (a perpendicularly-angled mounting beam and manipulator securer). The replacement pad may be a ninety-degree sponge with two aggregated sides. The tool portion of the device may comprise plastic or other suitable durable material. A universal ball joint, designed to accept any standard corner flushing handle, can be located at the center-back portion of the tool. The replacement pad may attach to the perpendicularly-angled mounting beam with adhesive material. The modular version may comprise slidably-removably-attachable wings having leading and trailing edges providing that the sanding device can be efficiently and effectively used in conjunction with an abrasive sponge to sand inside corners.

    摘要： An anastomosis normally closed clip comprising a first side including at least one first suture guide, the first suture guide being disposed on a top of the clip, the first end portion and the first suture guide defining a first suture space open toward the top of the clip, the first side further including a first carrier slot on the bottom of the clip; and a second side which is the mirror image of the first side. An introducer device is used to open the clip and introduce it into a patient over two organ segments to be sutured together and allow the clip to close. The suture spaces allow for continuous suturing of the organ segments. The introducer device is used to remove the clip from the patient after the suture procedure.

The ratio of the cross-sectional area of the cutter element at a point equal to ninety-four percent of the extension height to the cross-sectional area of the cutter element base is greater than 0.2. Moreover, the ratio of the extension height to the base diameter is not greater than 0.75.
