摘要： An anastomosis normally closed clip comprising a first side including at least one first suture guide, the first suture guide being disposed on a top of the clip, the first end portion and the first suture guide defining a first suture space open toward the top of the clip, the first side further including a first carrier slot on the bottom of the clip; and a second side which is the mirror image of the first side. An introducer device is used to open the clip and introduce it into a patient over two organ segments to be sutured together and allow the clip to close. The suture spaces allow for continuous suturing of the organ segments. The introducer device is used to remove the clip from the patient after the suture procedure.

摘要： An intrauterine device for applying pressure to the walls of the uterine cavity includes a resilient body having an elongated member which includes a first end and a second end which are resiliently biased away from each other. The first end of the elongated member includes a first leg having a first end and a second end. The second end of the elongated member includes a second leg having a first end and a second end. A connection member is positioned between the first end of the first leg and the first end of the second leg. A first plug member is secured at the second end of the first leg and a second plug member is secured at the first end of the second leg. The first and second plug members are shaped and dimensioned for bearing against the walls of the uterine cavity as the elongated member spreads outwardly with the first end and the second end moving apart. A method for preventing conception within the uterine cavity is also disclosed.

摘要： An internal retraction system for use in minimally-invasive surgical procedures includes, among other features, an elongated applicator that has proximal and distal ends. The distal end of the applicator includes a grasper and the proximal end includes a mechanism or actuator for moving the grasper from an open position to a closed position. A plurality of anchor clips are slidably mounted on the elongated applicator and are initially in a stored position. Each clip includes spring biased upper and lower jaws for grasping tissue. The internal retraction system also includes a structure associated with the applicator for deploying the anchor clips from the stored position to a deployed position at a desired location. Moreover, the internal retraction system includes a mechanism associated with the applicator for removing the anchor clips from the deployed position and returning the clips to the stored position.

摘要： An intrauterine device for occluding orifices of fallopian tubes includes a resilient body having an elongated member with a first end and a second end.
