    摘要: An intra-subject position detection system includes a subject insertable device introduced into a subject, moving through the subject; and including a magnetic field generator that generates a magnetostatic field. The system also includes a position detecting device arranged outside the subject and obtaining position information of the subject insertable device inside the subject. The position detecting device also includes a magnetic field detector that is arranged on the subject at a time of use and detects a strength of the magnetostatic field output from the magnetic field generator; a reference sensor that derives a position of the magnetic field detector relative to a reference position on the subject; and a position deriving unit that derives a position of the subject insertable device inside the subject based on the magnetic field strength and the position of the magnetic field detector.

    摘要: In an image filing system in accordance with the present invention, image files containing images that should be displayed on a viewing monitor in a conference unit are selected from among retrieved image files using a mouse. A CPU determines how many image files are selected using the mouse and identifies management information contained in the selected image files. Under the control of the CPU, images in a work memory are temporarily stored in an image processor. The images in the image processor are displayed on a retrieval monitor. Management information contained in the selected image files and the number of selected image files are supplied from the CPU to a controller over a bus. Reduced images provided in the form of digital data and contained in the selected image files in the image processor are supplied to a D/A converter under the control of the controller. The D/A converter de-quantizes the digital data into analog data so as to display the reduced images on the viewing monitor.

    摘要: A composition for optical materials is herein disclosed which comprises the following two components (a) and (b): (a) a component containing at least one of poly isocyanates represented by the formula (1) ##STR1## wherein A is an alkanediyl group or an alkanetetrayl group which may contain a sulfur atom, or a dithianetetrayl group, and the alkanediyl group or the alkanetetrayl group may be substituted by a phenyl group; B is a methylene chain represented by .paren open-st.CH.sub.2 .paren close-st..sub.m (m is an integer of 1 to 4) which may contain a sulfur atom, and B's may be the same or different; and n is an integer of 2 or 4, and (b) a component containing at least one of polythiols having two or more mercapto groups. The composition is useful to provide optical products such as plastic lenses, filters, substrates for recording media and optical fibers which have a very high refractive index and which are excellent in heat resistance.

    摘要: An endoscope using a solid state imaging device characterized by comprising a solid state imaging device capable of imaging an object image, a light emitting means giving an illuminating light to said object, a first level detecting means fed with a video signal from said solid state imaging device and detecting the level of this signal, a first level comparing means comparing the detected level of this detecting means and a preset first reference level with each other and outputting a first control signal corresponding to the level difference, a light adjusting means fed with this first control signal and adjusting the illuminating light from said light emitting means on the basis of this signal, a gain variable amplifying means taking in the video signal from the detecting end in said first level detecting means and amplifying it, a second level detecting means detecting the level of the signal from this amplifying means and a circuit means comparing the detected level of this detecting means and a preset second reference level with each other, forming a second control signal corresponding to the level difference and making this signal a gain controlling signal to said amplifying means.
