    摘要: A cuff for a blood pressure monitor is provided with an air bag including a first bag member located outside and a second bag member located inside in the thickness direction when fitted on a living body. The first and second bag members have first and second inflated/deflated spaces, respectively. The second bag member is formed by laying a single-layer resin sheet on the surface on the living body side of the first bag member and by melting and bonding its rim to the surface. A bonded portion of the first bag member with the resin sheet is positioned inner than each end in the width direction of the first inflated/deflated space. Thus, a cuff for a blood pressure monitor fabricated with ease and at low cost, exhibiting high pressing performance and high avascularization performance, and suitable for reduction of cuff width can be provided.

Consequently, a solenoid air valve having a structure allowing improvement in magnetic efficiency by making smaller the gap between the frame and the moving core is provided.

    摘要: In wrapping a blood pressure measurement cuff enclosing therein a bladder, which is inflated when supplied with air, around a region for measurement, first, a predetermined amount of air is supplied to the bladder and then enclosed therein. Then, the blood pressure measurement cuff is wrapped around the region for measurement of a subject for the purpose of measuring his/her blood pressure. During this wrapping process, relative variations in the pressure in the bladder are sequentially detected. The time period in which the detection results indicate that the variation has not reached a predetermined threshold value, the wrapping proceeds. When the detection results indicate that the variation has reached the predetermined threshold value, the wrapping is terminated.

    摘要: Blood pressure measurement is precisely performed by more correctly determining positions of a cuff and a heart without being affected by variations in physical features among subject persons and their postures during the measurement. With the technique of the present invention, there are calculated the altitudes of the cuff and the heart on the basis of an inputted upper arm length and forearm length of a subject person and forearm angles detected in the pitch direction and roll direction. Also, in addition to a forearm angle detecting means, an upper arm angle detecting means is provided and the altitudes of the cuff and the heart are calculated on the basis of detected angles of a forearm and an upper arm. Also, a biaxial angle detecting means detects angles of the forearm in the pitch direction and the roll direction and calculates the altitudes of the cuff and the heart on the basis of these detected values.
