    摘要: A surroundings modeling device for a driver assistance system for a motor vehicle, includes a separating device configured to separate a total vehicle surroundings model into a static vehicle surroundings model based on a first look-ahead distance and a dynamic vehicle surroundings model based on a second look-ahead distance. A first real-time computing device is configured to calculate the dynamic vehicle surroundings model on the basis of the first look-ahead distance within a maximum response time. A second real-time computing device is configured to calculate the static vehicle surroundings model on the basis of the second look-ahead distance with a characteristic response time. A situation analysis device is configured to change the separation process on the basis of an analysis of the total vehicle surroundings model.

    摘要: A safety system brake system comprises a hydraulic pressure-providing device having a pressure chamber connected to at least one brake circuit by a separating valve and into which pressure chamber a piston is moved to build up pressure. The pressure chamber is a two-stage pressure chamber having first and second sub-chambers. During pressure build-up the piston is moved into the first and then the second sub-chamber. The two sub-chamber are hydraulically closed off from each other when the piston is moved a specified distance into the second sub-chamber. A first check valve is connected to the first sub-chamber on a suction side and to a brake fluid reservoir on a blocking side. A second check valve is connected to the second sub-chamber on a suction side, and to the suction side of the first check valve on the blocking side.

    摘要: A method for automatically establishing extrinsic parameters of a camera of a vehicle includes repeatedly establishing the extrinsic parameters of the camera during a measurement run, wherein sensor data are generated by a sensor each time the extrinsic parameters of the camera are established. The established parameters and the associated sensor data respectively are stored in a database. A convolutional neural network is trained based on the extrinsic parameters stored in the database and based on the sensor data. The extrinsic parameters of the camera are subsequently determined online by utilizing the trained convolutional neural network.

    摘要: A braking system for vehicles includes wheel brakes, a pressure-providing device for actuating the wheel brakes, a master brake cylinder having a primary pressure chamber, a secondary pressure chamber, and a secondary piston. The primary pressure chamber is separated from a first set of the wheel brakes by a first, normally open separating valve, and the secondary pressure chamber is separated from a second set of the wheel brakes by a second, normally open separating valve. A pressure medium reservoir is connected to the secondary pressure chamber in the unactuated state of the secondary piston, the braking system is activated in order to actively build up pressure in the brakes in a by-wire operating mode by the pressure-providing device. In the event of a pressure medium surplus in the wheel brakes, the second separating valve is opened if a release of the brake pedal by the driver is detected.
