Abstract:
A torque converter assembly having a hub for connection with an input shaft of a gearbox, a lock-up clutch module for selective connection with a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, a turbine module of a torque converter rigidly connected to the lock-up clutch module and rotatable with respect to the hub, and a spiral spring isolator to resiliently connect the hub with the lock-up clutch module and the turbine module.
Abstract:
There is described a belt comprising a body made of a first elastomeric material, in which a plurality of longitudinal filiform resistant inserts is embedded, and a working surface coated by a coating fabric, advantageously the working surface consists of a toothing. The first elastomeric material comprises fibers which extend in a direction substantially perpendicular to the resistant inserts and substantially parallel to a surface defined by the axes of the resistant inserts.
Abstract:
A damper pulley assembly has a hub; a seismic mass connected to the hub to define a dynamic torsional vibration damper; a pulley connected to the hub; elastic means for connecting the pulley in torque-transmitting mode to the hub; and one-way stop means for arresting the pulley in a first stop position with respect to the hub or the seismic mass in a first direction, when the elastic means reach a predetermined torsional load.
Abstract:
Described herein is a tensioner for a belt of a drive of a motor vehicle, comprising: at least two idle pulleys designed to co-operate with respective belt runs of the belt; two arms bearing the pulleys; and elastic means acting at least indirectly on the arms for tensioning the belt, in which the arms are constrained to one another, and at least one of the arms is hinged to a first mobile axis.
Abstract:
A drive for an internal combustion engine having a predetermined take-up rate (TU) and comprising a drive pulley, a driven pulley, a shoe and an oil wet toothed belt cooperating in contact with a guiding surface of the shoe, presenting an optimized winding angle (α) of the guiding surface to decrease the power dissipated on the toothed belt.
Abstract:
A pulley assembly comprising a hub with an axis and adapted to be rigidly connected to a rotating shaft of an engine assembly, a turning annular pulley of ferromagnetic material supported at least indirectly on the hub, a ring of electrically conducting material rotationally connected to the hub, and at least a pair of magnets rigidly connected to the pulley and facing the ring. The pulley defines a cavity accomodating accommodating said ring.

Abstract:
A tensioner (1; 50; 60) for a vehicle belt drive, having a housing (2) defining a cavity (3) having an axis (A); at least one arm (4) fitted to the housing (2) to rotate about the axis (A); an idle pulley (5) fitted to the arm (4); a torsion bar elastic member (6) housed at least partly in the cavity (3) and having a first end portion (15) integral with the arm (4), and a second hand portion (16) connected rigidly to a retaining portion (17) to permit tensioning of the elastic member (6); and a damping device (30) for damping oscillation of the arm (4), and having a conical friction member (32) cooperating axially with a mating surface (34) and loaded by axial elastic means (33). The friction member (32) is interposed between the arm (4) and the housing (2); and the elastic member (6) produces an axial thrust component depending on torsion of the elastic member and for pressing the friction member (32) and the mating surface.
Abstract:
Starter-alternator assembly including a poly-V belt comprising a body made of elastomeric material, a plurality of filiform resistant inserts longitudinally embedded in the body, and a coupling portion integrally connected to the body and comprising a plurality of V-shaped ribs set alongside one another and alternating with V-shaped grooves. The belt has a dynamic modulus, with a tensile force pre-set at 600 N at a frequency 15 Hz, that after 10 000 cycles is higher than 110 000 N/rib/branch, and is advantageously made with resistant inserts obtained from at least one first fibre material and one second fibre material.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cam actuator which adopts an epicyclic reducer housed inside the eccentric cam supporting pivot, where is also provided a housing compartment for the electrical motor, whose pinion is perfectly coaxial with the axis of the epicyclic reducer and with the axis of said supporting pivot.
