    Abstract: An airshock assembly is disclosed. The airshock assembly includes a shock absorber an airspring, and an air compressor assembly. The airspring is axially coupled with a portion of the shock absorber and used to modify a ride height of the shock absorber. The air compressor assembly is coupled with a portion of the shock absorber. The air compressor assembly is used to modify an air pressure in the airspring without requiring the airshock assembly to utilize an air reservoir.

    Abstract: A shock absorber including: a first cylinder having an interior, first and second ends and defining an axis, wherein the interior includes a damping fluid chamber and a damping piston movably mounted therein for movement between the first and second ends, wherein the damping piston is mounted on a first end of a shaft, wherein the first end of the shaft is movably retained within the interior of the first cylinder; first and second bypass openings configured for opening into the damping fluid chamber at first and second axially spaced-apart positions; a bypass channel fluidly coupling the first and second bypass openings; a fluid metering valve; and a floating piston dividing a portion of the shock absorber into a gas chamber and the reservoir chamber, wherein the fluid metering valve and the floating piston define the reservoir chamber there between.

    Abstract: An internal stroke sensor for an IFP shock assembly is disclosed herein. The shock assembly includes a damper chamber and a damping piston coupled to a piston shaft. The damping piston disposed in the damper chamber and axially movable relative to the damper chamber, the damping piston separating a compression portion from a rebound portion within the damper chamber. The shock assembly also includes an internal floating piston (IFP) and an IFP location sensor. The IFP location sensor to determine a position information for the IFP. A processor is configured to receive the position information for the IFP from the IFP location sensor and utilize the position information for the IFP to determine a shock stroke position of the shock assembly.

    Abstract: A rough road detection system is disclosed. The system includes a sensor data receiver to receive sensor data from one or more sensors monitoring a vehicle. A sensor data evaluator to: identify a repeating pattern in the sensor data, the repeating pattern indicative of a terrain type being traversed by the vehicle, determine a value of the repeating pattern, obtain a present set of operational values for at least one damping characteristic of an active valve damper coupled with the vehicle, and modify the present set of operational values for the at least one damping characteristic of the active valve damper based on the value of the repeating pattern to develop a modified set of operational values for the at least one damping characteristic of the active valve damper.

    Abstract: An adjustable floating traction bar is disclosed. The traction bar comprises a rigid body having a threaded portion on a first distal end to receive a threaded eyelet having a spherical joint to provide a connection point to an axle of a vehicle. The traction bar further comprises an opposing distal slip end being machined and fitted with a UHMW (ultra high molecular weight) polyethylene bushing that acts as a slip-joint the slip joint having a first end that mounts to the UHMW polyethylene bushing of the tubular body and an opposing end having an eyelet to provide a connection point to a vehicle frame.
