Abstract:
Disclosed is a document conveying apparatus including: a reading unit which read image information on a surface of a document; a driving-side discharge unit which conveys the document in a first direction in contact with the first surface, and discharges at least a part of the document; a driven-side discharge unit which receives transmission of a rotative force from the driving-side discharge unit, when being in contact with the driving-side discharge unit; a specific-direction conveying unit which conveys the document in an opposite direction to the first direction; a pressing force applying unit which applies a force in a third direction to the driven-side discharge unit so as to be in contact with the driving-side discharge unit; and a movement control unit which moves the driven-side discharge unit in an opposite direction to the third direction, when the document is in contact with the driven-side discharge unit.
Abstract:
An original document size detection device of the present invention is characterized by comprising a document reading table, a light source which irradiates an original document placed on the document reading table, a cover body which covers the original document, a light detection unit which detects a reflected light that a light from the light source is reflected by the original document and an external light that enters the surface of the document reading table when the cover body is lifted, a masking unit which masks an output signal based on the external light in the output signal of the light detection unit based on the reflected light and the external light, and a determination unit which determines a size of the original document in a main scanning direction based on the output signal of the light detection unit that is masked by the masking unit.
Abstract:
An image reading device includes: a CCD for reading an image on a document to output an image signal; a light source for switchingly emitting visible light and non-visible light; and lighting control means for controlling lighting periods of the light source. The lighting control means is adapted to perform control such that a first light source lighting period for applying non-visible light is longer than a second light source lighting period for applying visible light. The image reading device also includes splitting means for splitting the image signals outputted from the CCD into an image signal upon application of visible light and an image signal upon application of non-visible light.
Abstract:
A back plug-in connector device having a floating structure, comprises: a body chassis, a cover and a support plate on which a connector is mounted. The support plate is sandwiched by the body chassis and the cover so as to constitute the floating structure.
Abstract:
A radio communication apparatus includes a control unit for conducting modulation scheme changeover control to change a modulation scheme according to a state of a transmission path and automatic transmitter power control to control a transmission level of another radio communication apparatus to set a reception level of a reception signal to be received by the own apparatus to a predetermined value, wherein the control unit controls, when a changeover is conducted from a first modulation scheme to a second modulation scheme under the modulation scheme changeover control, to keep the transmission level of another radio communication apparatus at a predetermined value under the automatic transmitter power control and conducts, when resetting is conducted from the second modulation scheme to the first modulation scheme under the modulation scheme changeover control, at least one of transmission level reduction control to stepwise lower by a predetermined value the transmission level kept at the predetermined value under the automatic transmitter power control and reception level confirmation control to confirm a state of the reception level for a fixed period of time.
Abstract:
An automatic document conveyance device, include a paper guide which has a slot formed by cutting off a part of a conveyance surface for guiding a document; a conveyance unit which inserts in and detach from the slot; wherein the conveyance unit further comprising: a motor which generates driving force; a motor holding part which holds the motor; a driving roller which conveys a document; a drive transmission mechanism which transmits the driving force generated by the motor to the driving roller via a driving roller shaft; and a fitting part which fits the conveyance unit into the slot so that one surface of the conveyance unit forms the conveyance face.
Abstract:
An angle adjustment device, include a fixed portion; a movable portion; a connection portion which rotatably connects the movable portion to the fixed portion; and an elastic member which is arranged between the movable portion and the fixed portion and restricts rotational movement of the movable portion with kinetic friction generated between the movable portion and the fixed portion.
Abstract:
The filter has a switch function of selectively transmitting a transmission signal through one of first and second branch waveguides branching from a primary waveguide. The filter includes resonators disposed in the first and second branch waveguides. The resonator includes a space formed inside a metal cover, a central conductor disposed inside the space, and a short-circuiting plate. The central conductor has one end grounded to an outer conductor. The short-circuiting plate allows the neighborhood of an open end of the central conductor to be selectively conducted to the outer conductor. The filter performs a selection from the first and second branch waveguides by switching electrical conductivity in a region between the neighborhood of the open end of the central conductor and the outer conductor.
Abstract:
A liquid crystal display (LCD) is fixed to an upper housing half by an LCD fixing frame made of a material having a high thermal conductivity. The LCD fixing frame is attached to the upper housing half in contact with a lower surface of the LCD on the opposite side of a display panel which defines an image display plane. A substrate mounted with high heat generating parts such as a CPU is attached to the LCD fixing frame such that the high heat generating parts face the lower surface of the LCD fixing frame. A thermally conductive member is disposed between the high heat generating parts and the LCD fixing frame in contact with the high heat generating parts and LCD fixing frame.
