    摘要： An apparatus for cutting a product includes a conveyor assembly and a slitter assembly. The conveyor assembly conveys the product in a feed direction and defines a conveyance surface, on which the product is conveyed. The slitter assembly slits the product into strips as the product is conveyed in the feed direction. The slitter assembly comprises a plurality of cutting elements arranged in a V shape and overlapping one another in the feed direction, as viewed in a direction substantially normal to the conveyance surface. A chopping assembly is positioned downstream of the slitter assembly. The chopping assembly comprises an elongated blade, which moves in an elliptical cutting motion, such that it has a component in the downward direction to sever the strips of product, and a component in the feed direction to toss the severed pieces of product in the feed direction.

    摘要： A conveyor moves food product, such as pies or cakes, within a cutting range of a knife positioning assembly. The knife positioning assembly supports an ultrasonic knife assembly which has a blade adapted for cutting the food product. The knife assembly is disposed above the conveyor and is moved to the food product in a cutting position therewith when the conveyor has the food product within the cutting range. The knife assembly is movable through at least two axes by the positioning assembly for positioning and cutting with the blade.

    摘要： An apparatus for cutting meat blocks which includes a main blade to cut slices from a meat block and transverse blades to divide the slice into strips. The blades are mounted on a cutting unit which may be driven to reciprocate relative to a stationary meat block support. The latter includes a slice support structure that extends outwardly beneath the cutting unit in a comb-like configuration. The cutting unit carries a horizontally adjustable stop assembly having stop elements which fit and reciprocate within the gaps formed in the slice support. This configuration permits the smooth and stepless adjustment of the slice thickness without the necessity of disassembling any parts.

    摘要： Portable apportioning apparatus, readily attachable to a meat grinder or stuffer or similar product dispensing mechanism, including a product flow tube having an inlet and an outlet and an internal stop; a housing, defining a closed cavity, rotatingly engaging the flow tube, the cavity in fluid communication with a first opening cut-out of the wall of the flow tube above the internal stop and a second opening cut-out of the wall of the flow tube below the internal stop; and a rotatable apportioning baffle engaging the walls of the housing cavity to define two separate apportioning cavities. A semi-solid product, such as meat, flows from the grinder or stuffer through the inlet of the flow tube and through the top cut-out into one of the apportioning cavities causing rotational movement of the baffle to a predetermined apportioning stop. Movement of the baffle forces an apportioned amount of the product through the bottom cut-out and through the outlet of the flow tube where it may be packaged. Switches may be provided to activate the grinder or stuffer upon rotation of the housing or to deactivate the same upon selected apportionment by the baffle.
