摘要: Methods and apparatuses for reducing food products. Such a method includes introducing a food product into an impeller rotating within a casing about an axis thereof. The impeller has paddles and pockets defined by and between adjacent pairs of the paddles. The paddles are circumferentially spaced so that each pocket is sequentially radially aligned with a circumferential opening of the casing as the impeller rotates. Each paddle has a relief slot defined in an outer radial edge of the paddle. Food products are expelled from the pockets and cut with a knife disposed at the circumferential opening of the casing as the impeller rotates and the pockets travel past the circumferential opening. The knife defines a cord of the casing, extends into the path of the paddles, and passes through the relief slots of the paddles.

摘要: This invention provides a system and method for aligning, feeding, trimming, slitting, rotating, cross-slitting and stacking sheets, each containing one or more discrete page images thereon that allows for greater automation of the overall process so that reduced or no manual intervention is required to generate completed book stacks or “blocks” from a stream or stack of printed sheets. Sheets are fed to a first, upstream trimming station to remove margin edges and optionally separate the sheets relative to the discrete page images. The sheets are then rotated 90 degrees and fed to a second, downstream trimming station that trims the right-angle edges and optionally separates the sheets into a final group of full-bleed pages, removing margins and gutter strips. The sheets are feed to a stacking assembly to be tacked in page order and any rejected, defective sheets or stacks are removed from the order.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a method for processing an orifice capable of processing recessed portions and orifices, each having a unique hole diameter different from each other, to high positioning accuracy and in a short time.A press includes: a B-axis angle indexing device 3 disposed on a base 2b, the B-axis angle indexing device 3 including a table B; an A-axis angle indexing device 25 disposed on the table B, the A-axis angle indexing device 25 including a table A; a chuck 32 disposed on the table A, the chuck 32 for holding a work; a base Z 6 disposed on a base, the base Z 6 being operable in an axis Z-direction; a base X 8 disposed on the base Z, the base X 8 being operable in an axis X-direction; a punch holding portion 13 disposed on the base X, the punch holding portion 13 being operable vertically in an axis Y-direction; and a plurality of punches 19, 22 held on the punch holding portion in parallel with the axis Z. The press is used to perform a pressing cycle at a desired position by changing a posture of the work and moving the punch in the Z-direction continuously using punches having different leading end diameters and shapes with the work held in the chuck.

摘要: The invention relates to a complete cutting station for separatingly cutting out packaging units from a film composite by means of a movable complete cutting tool configured for severing the film composite. The complete cutting station further comprises a conveying system having a plurality of conveyor elements for conveying a respective separated packaging unit, wherein each conveyor element in turn comprises a head portion for engaging with a respective packaging unit. The invention is characterized in that the head portions of the conveyor elements are movable between a first position in which packaging units that they gripped are at a first distance to each other defined by the film composite, and a second position in which the packaging units are at a second, smaller distance from each other or at least partially overlap in at least one spatial direction.

Trimming stations can be automatically adjusted to accommodate different numbers and sizes of pages in sheets. The stacking assembly can include a right-angle merge assembly that can include a plurality of decks, served by divert gates to handle a large number of separated pages to-be-stacked.
