C. in water;a germicidally effective amount of at least one cationic surfactant having germicidal properties; andthe balance, to 100% wt. of water. The concentrate compositions may comprise from 0-20% of further optional additives. In particularly preferred embodiments the concentrate compositions may be characterized in that when the concentrate compositions are diluted at a ratio of 1 part to 64 parts water at 20.degree. C. or 40.degree. C. the resultant mixture exhibits a good light transmittance loss. The concentrate compositions provide good blooming characteristics when diluted in water to form cleaning and disinfecting compositions therefrom.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a liquid descaling composition containing a phosphoric acid, a phosphonic acid, a cationic surfactant, an amine oxide and water.

Aqueous based cleaning compositions simultaneously featuring disinfecting, low residue deposit and good cleaning characteristics are provided. The compositions include one or more quaternary amine compounds as disinfecting active agents, an organic solvent system which includes glycol mono-n-butyl ether or a binary system including a glycol ether with a linear primary alcohol, and either one or more betaines, or one or more amine oxides as a surfactant constituent.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for rinsing showers clean and for providing a pleasant sheen to shower surfaces without scrubbing or wiping by applying an aqueous composition which includes a non-ionic surfactant having an HLB less than 13, a chelating agent, and optionally, an alcohol.
Abstract:
The present invention provides laundry concentrate compositions comprising a mixture of at least one non-ionic surfactant and at least one water insoluble, polar group--containing oil, wherein the concentrate is characterized by a viscosity in excess of about 10 cps, preferably in excess of 100 cps, and further characterized that, upon dilution with at least about one volume of water per volume of concentrate, the concentrate is converted at least partially into a liquid crystal phase dispersion, providing a diluted concentrate having a viscosity of at least about 50 cps.Preferred concentrates are fabric softeners in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion and also containing a cationic or non-ionic fabric softener.
