    摘要: This disclosure relates to building trades where precise spacing between structural members ensures support via use of a plurality of elongate spacers. The spacers include at least one intermediate transit tacking member and a pair of nail- or screw-receiving apertures on opposing ends of thereof. One of the opposing ends serves as a pivoting end and the opposite end includes one or more relatively shorter member near the aperture formed therein. These member(s) can be driven into an adjacent trust or other support member while a final precise position is determined. To determine the final precise position to affix a given spacer one or more indicia is provided. Such indicia can include end edges, one or more cut-out features and/or one or more cut-out features and/or numbered or lettered (or other symbols) indicating the relative spacing from one end of the elongate spacer to the other.

    摘要: This invention provides fail protection systems comprising a suspension fabric, supported by a grid-work of longitudinal and lateral bands, in metal building construction. The fall protection system uses the combination of relatively softer banding, a safety band spaced a particular distance from each rafter, and safety clips to attach the safety bands to the intermediate purlins, thus to distribute the force of impact of a load, falling close to a rafter, to better absorb and dissipate the force of the impact, including distributing the impact of the failing load over a greater area of the roof structure. The invention further provides methods of making elements of such systems, methods of installing elements of such systems, and buildings embodying such systems.

    摘要: A seamless sheet installation system preferably includes a seamless sheet and a plurality of sheet retention devices. The seamless sheet is retained on a tube. A pair of rotating retention devices may be inserted into ends of the roll. Each rolling retention device includes a tube plug and a rotating handle. An end of the seamless sheet is secured to the top eave flange. The seamless sheet is held against a bottom of the eave purlin web with one of the plurality of sheet retention devices. The sheet retention device may have any suitable design. The seamless sheet is rolled out to successive purlins, wrapped over the top flange and anchored to a bottom of the vertical web with one of the plurality of sheet retention devices. The seamless sheet wrapping process is terminated at an opposing eave purlin or a ridge purlin. Insulation is then inserted between adjacent purlins.

    摘要: An Emergency Isolation and Treatment Shelter (EITS) roof system is modular and readily transportable within conventional shipping containers. The roof system generally includes a roof support structure including a multiple of identical component parts which are assembled together in a modular manner. Once the roof support structure is assembled to the rigid wall system, a multitude of roof panels are locate thereon. Once the multitude of roof panels are located on the roof support structure, a roof cap system is mounted over the edge interfaces of the roof panels and the roof support structure to provide a watertight system that is rapidly assembled. A transport channel is located within the roof system to provide support and storage areas for the running of wires, water supply conduits, and the like to provide an unencumbered floor area.

Said sheet contains a series of perforations between the primary portion and the flange, the perforations of configurations and dimensions sufficient to allow a user to bend the flange relative to the primary portion by hand. Bending by hand may be done manually, using one's bare hands, hand tools, a combination of both hand tools and one's bare hands, or another mechanical device to assist one in bending after shipping.
