摘要: A method of assembling a deck board by using a step clip fastening device is disclosed. The method comprising the steps of fastening the step clip fastening device onto a joist by using a plurality of fastening tools; sliding a first end of the deck board into an inner cavity of a step clip attached at a first end of the step clip fastening device; and snapping a second end of the deck board into an inner cavity of a corresponding step clip facing the step clip attached at the first end of the step clip fastening device to form a mating relationship between the deck board and the step clip fastening device.

摘要: The modular facade is made of prefab panels comprising a frame structure with horizontal and vertical profiles. The prefab panel includes an outer cladding attached to the frame structure by attaching means. The horizontal and the vertical profiles have a matching shiplap design. A method of mounting the modular facade relies upon the steps of installing brackets to a building structure, for levelling position of the prefab panels, and an anti-tipping element in an upper part of the building structure, so that not very demanding lifting means, such as a small crane, suffices, for suspending subsequent adjacent prefab panels from an upper story.

摘要: A board with preformed seals. In an exemplary embodiment, a sealing material is applied to at least one edge of a board to form a preformed seal on that edge. The board is configured such that when the board is attached to a frame adjacent to a another board, at least a portion of the sealing material applied to the edge of the board seals against at least a portion of an edge another board. In one exemplary embodiment, the boards are configured to seal against edges of substantially identical boards. A plurality of the sheathing boards may be installed on a building frame to form a sheathing system that provides a moisture and/or gas barrier between and interior and exterior of a building.

摘要: There is disclosed a system and method for wall panel trim installation. In an embodiment, the system comprises a plurality of horizontal and vertical trim profiles having a back plate adapted to receive a top cap within a bracket, the bracket including a mounting base and walls extending up from either side of the base; and at least one flange formed on the walls and extending outwardly, the at least one flange including a shallow channel; wherein, upon receiving the top cap within the bracket, the at least one flange forming the shallow channel and a portion of the top cap secure an edge of a wall panel therebetween. In an embodiment, the shallow channel formed within the at least one flange is adapted to receive an adhesive or sealant. The top cap is partially received within the bracket such that a clearance is formed between a bottom of the mounting base and a bottom of the top cap. Back plate and top cap pairs allow installation of wall panels placed into position without fasteners.

摘要: The system includes a plurality of panels made of a thermoplastic material. The panels have a hermetically-sealed connection between them using a plurality of first thermoplastic welded junctions. The system further includes a plurality of elongated snap-in panel anchoring units. Each unit including complementary first and second members to be latched together through an interfering engagement. At least the first member of each snap-in panel anchoring unit is made of a thermoplastic material and these first members are attached to the outboard major surface of the panels using a plurality of second thermoplastic welded junctions.
