Abstract:
A lightweight, portable tent having low volume, high pressure inflatable support air passages formed from the overlap and sealing of the wall panels of the tent, and a kit including the tent and an inflating device.
Abstract:
A support system for tents and other shelters. The support system includes base support members that are in the shape of an arch. These base support members are secured in a desired configuration by an upper support member that is in the shape of a circle or other geometrical shape. A roof support may be added as well. The size and configuration of the shelter may be easily changed by adding or deleting the number of base support members.
Abstract:
A self-contained shelter that may be used for survival purposes or recreational activities includes a number of floor panels, a number of which form an enclosure, which may be held together by one or more straps. Inside the enclosure are several more floor panels, an inflatable tent, and life-supporting accessories. The shelter, when the enclosure is secured, may be airdropped or trucked into an area that may have experienced a recent disaster, such as flooding, hurricanes, or earthquakes. For recreational purposes, the shelter may be placed in a motor vehicle. When the straps are released, the floor panels may be attached along their edges to each other to form a raised floor that is placed on a surface. A raised floor provides a buffer between the user of the shelter and the surface, which may be wet or muddy. The tent is inflated and attached to the floor and is supported by external beams and internal braces. The tent forms an air chamber that provides insulation from the outside. Life-supporting accessories include food, water, clothing, inflatable mattresses, cooking stove, lanterns, communications equipment, blankets, power supplies and the like. The self-contained shelter may be readily assembled in a few minutes and provides the user a complete facility, rather than a basic tent which will require the user to acquire other necessities by leaving the tent or waiting for other items to be brought in.
Abstract:
An inflatable frame using, in each beam of the structure twinned tubes or otherwise multiple adjacent parallel tubes in each beam. The frame may be used for a sport ball arresting structure for supporting a mesh netting to enclose a player using full-swing, full power hitting of a sport ball into the mesh.
Abstract:
Solar energy has been used for generating electricity by using silicon based solar cells for years by mounting them on the outside surfaces of buildings. These cells have also been used for outdoor recreation, by mounting said silicon solar panels adjacent to a tent. To store the electrical energy produced by the silicon based cells, large, cumbersome battery systems were used. To provide needed working light inside of these solar powered building enclosures, the occupant needed separate light fixtures. This invention combines new light weight structurally flexible organic panels, said panels having three layers, said layers comprising an exterior solar photovoltaic layer, a middle layer of thin batteries and an interior layer of thin organic structurally flexible light emitting diode (“OLED”) film, said OLED's comprising the interior wall of said enclosure system. There is a microprocessor based circuit monitoring and management of the electrical energy produced, stored and used.
Abstract:
The present application relates to a cloth inflatable toy with high safety and convenience of carrying. The cloth inflatable toy includes a fan and a number of cloth pieces. The cloth inflatable toy further includes a tube bracket having two or more interlinked cloth tubes. An air outlet of the fan is connected with an air inlet of the tube bracket, and the sides of the cloth pieces used as the walls of the cloth inflatable toy are sewed on the corresponding cloth tubes respectively.
Abstract:
An inexpensive enclosure providing a protected space on a beach, lawn or the like. An inflatable tube forms a wall surrounding a space having an open end, so that a user is shielded from small kicked or thrown material or objects, running pets and the like. The tubular wall has flaps extending from its bottom surface, with pouches or separate tubes which a user fills at the site to hold the enclosure in place. The enclosure may have a floor, and may have attachment portions for removably connecting an extension unit having a floor which extends beyond the open end of the space between side portions of the wall.
Abstract:
A kit for building a structure which includes a plurality of panels (28, 30), each panel having at least one respective peripheral formation (34) and a plurality of fasteners (10); each fastener having at least two clip formations (12, 14), and wherein the clip formations of a fastener are respectively engageable with the peripheral formations of two of the panels which are positioned adjacent each other, to secure the panels together.
Abstract:
A portable climate controlled air shelter system on a transport device such as a trailer, truck bed or ISO container box with all sub-systems integral to the transport device where the sub systems include an inflatable air shelter with inflation/deflation blower, electrical power generator and fuel system pre-wired to all other sub systems, heating ventilation and air conditioning unit, air filtration, inflation/deflation blower, water management system, external lighting, central control panel for single point monitoring and control of the air shelter system and physical storage. Also provided are compressed air tanks for inflation of the air shelter as well as water ballast tubes that mechanically attach to the air shelter to provide stability in winds and on uneven ground. The water management system includes a water storage tank and pump for filling and emptying the water ballast tubes. The air shelter system also has transfer switch to allow the system to run on external “house power”.
Abstract:
The closing system comprises at least a first fixed air chamber (13) surrounding an opening through a wall, and a second air chamber (17) surrounding a closing panel (15) and integral therewith. The first and the second air chamber are connected to each other by means of at least one connection member (19) which allows reciprocal movement of said two air chambers.
