摘要： A Hurricane Asset Protection System for protecting residential, commercial and governmental structures and high cost/value objects made of a tarp/canvas cover fully encases the structure and sealed with corner tape, a reinforcing mesh, an approximately 2 pond per cubic foot spray foam at a thickness of approximately 2 to 12 inches, multiple hold down straps encircling the foam, a series of anchors, and a pre spray release coating a set of corner bands whereby the system, broadly considered, can be individually installed into a position to completely isolate a free standing structure from an external fire and can be readily customized to fit varying size structures which can reduce or prevent damage to a free standing structure and its contents from an hurricane and accompanying high velocity debris.

摘要： A storm shelter escape door assembly includes a frame and a door hinged to the frame. The frame includes three inner sidewalls, an open end, and a horizontal attachment plate extending outwardly from upper edges of the inner sidewalls. The door has at least three outer sidewalls joined by a door face. The door is hinged to the frame adjacent the open end and below the horizontal attachment plate so the door is openable in an inward direction away from the horizontal attachment plate. When the door is in a closed position, the door face angles downwardly toward the open end to cause water to run off the door.

摘要： Precast concrete residences resist great hurricane wind forces and moderate seismic forces. The entire residential structure, excluding the slab on grade are made from plant-cast concrete panels. Foundation panel joints are designed at the center of the precast wall panels to assure proper load-distribution from the walls to the foundation. Using a precast foundation greatly increases the speed of construction. All structural elements are field-bolted together. An interior wall track design allows engineered, prefabricated interior wall panels to roll into the home and “tip up” into place without wedging between the floor and ceiling.

摘要： A compactable and portable shelter can include side panels, front and rear panels roof panels and a spine panel that are hingedly connected by continuous hinges in a manner that enables the panels to collapse onto each other and into a small profile unit for ease of transport, deployment and recovery. A window and door can be formed in at least one front or rear wall panel. Support brackets can hold wall panels upright at ninety degrees with respect to floor panels. A solar power system can provide electrical power for lighting and electronic device charging to occupants of the shelter. Adjustable legs connected at exterior corners of the base can level the left base flow panel and the right base floor panel. Panels can be thermally insulated.

A pair of rails 8 is arranged in the vertical direction on the inner wall surface of the frame 3a of a columnar structure of the shelter main body 3. The movable floor 10 is capable of moving up and down inside the internal space 9 along the rails 8.

摘要： A foldable, frameless emergency shelter is constructed from a radial array of bendable yet rigid panels such as of a foamed plastic. Panels have adjoining edges with matching convexly curved profiles. The edges are always held to each other with a flexible fastener such as an adhesive tape. During erection, a flat panel inherently deforms into a curved cylindrical tapered shape enclosing a space. A door and an optional floor are provided. The shelter has a rigid conical cap including holes for guy ropes, a door and an optional window.
