A method of feeding an animal in a feeding box including in no particular order, at least the actions of: a) registering the presence of the animal in the feeding box, b) closing the feeding box and locking the feeding box in such a way that access to the feeding box is impeded for an animal outside the feeding box, c) supplying feed to the animal in the feeding box in a chosen eating period of time. For an animal that does not leave the feeding box after an initially chosen eating period of time has elapsed, the initially chosen eating period of time beginning immediately after the performance of step b), within a first waiting time span chosen contiguously to said period of time, in which the animal is given the possibility of leaving the feeding box, step c) is repeated at least once.

The present invention relates to a refrigerator and/or freezer with a door or flap for closing the appliance interior, with a hinge, by means of which the door or flap can be swivelled relative to the body of the appliance, wherein the hinge includes means for producing a closing force acting in closing direction of the door or flap, and with a damper which at least over a part of the closing movement of the door or flap applies a force directed against the closing movement of the door or flap, wherein the means for producing a closing force include an eccentric and means which exert a force that acts on the eccentric and is dependent on the opening angle of the door or flap.

A motion assist hinge mechanism includes a first and second hinge part mounted to the tailgate and vehicle body, respectively. The first hinge part includes a first cam having a sloped engagement surface engaged with a sloped engagement surface of a second cam of the second hinge part, under the bias of a resilient member, for moving axially along a pivot axis. The second cam is fixed to the vehicle body against pivotal movement relative to the pivot axis. When the tailgate is moved from a lowered, open position towards a raised, closed position, the resilient member translates a torque assisting force to the tailgate. The surface of the second cam may also include a detent that mates with the surface of the first cam to lock the tailgate at an angle.

A hinge apparatus for a cover of an image forming apparatus has a hinge body with supporting brackets, movably inserted into a coupling hole positioned in a main body of the image forming apparatus, a hinge cam connected to the cover and pivotably connected to the supporting brackets, and a pressure device disposed at the hinge body to press the hinge cam. Accordingly, the hinge apparatus can be implemented with a simple and easy assembly operation, since it is not a complicated structural connection among the component parts of the hinge apparatus.

A device for automatically lifting a cover of a mobile phone by pressing is to control the lifting/closing operation of an upper cover relative to a main body of a mobile phone. A housing member is connected between the main body and the upper cover. The device for lifting the cover comprises a pressing-and-controlling means provided within the housing member, a braking means accommodated within the pressing-and-controlling means and movably connected to the pressing-and-controlling means, a rotating means operatively connected to the pressing-and-controlling means and the braking means, and a reciprocating means operatively connected to the other end of the rotating means. With the above arrangement, a user can operate the pressing-and-controlling means with single hand to drivingly connect to the braking means and cause the rotating means to rotate and slide, thereby to automatically lift the upper cover of the mobile phone after being pressed. Alternatively, the user can operate the reciprocating means and the rotating means to cause them to rotate and slide so as to manually open/close the upper cover. Therefore, it is convenient for the user to answer a call.

The positioning seat of the hinge shaft passes through the hinge housing, the elastic element, the first cam and the second cam. The hinge shaft is rotated in an angle in order to insert the positioning seat into the end hole of the second cam.

The holder for the illumination means (40) has an adapter (32) having an adapter housing (34) which can be mounted in the body and in which a spring-prestressed pressure piece (36), which can be displaced between two separate positions and is in direct or indirect operative connection with the switch, is arranged. The adapter housing (34) is provided on one of the furniture fittings holding the door or flap or the withdrawable part movably on or in the body.
