摘要: A debris control system comprises a first ported sub and a second ported sub attached to a casing and disposed in a wellbore, such that the first ported sub is disposed at a depth that is deeper than the depth at which the second ported sub is disposed. The first ported sub is to move debris from the wellbore when it is actuated and a first fluid is pumped through it. The second ported sub is to enable conducting a diagnostic fracture injection test (DFIT) when a second fluid is pumped through it. Additional apparatus, methods, and systems are disclosed.

摘要: An apparatus for use in a wellbore includes an outer assembly and inner assembly. The outer assembly includes a set down profile, a first flow device for supplying a fluid to a zone in the wellbore and a second flow device for providing a flow path from the formation to inside of the outer assembly. The inner assembly includes a frac port for supplying a fluid from the inner assembly to the first flow device, a valve below the frac port that remains closed when a fluid at a selected flow rate flows downward from above the valve, and a bypass device uphole of the valve. The bypass device opens when the inner assembly is set down in the set down profile and provides a flow path from below the frac port to an annulus between the inner assembly and the outer assembly above the frac port.

摘要: A method of actuating multiple valves in a well can include applying a pressure cycle to the valves without causing actuation of any of the valves, and then simultaneously reducing pressure applied to the valves, thereby actuating the valves. Another method can include releasing a locking device of each valve which prevents actuation, and then reducing pressure applied to the valves, thereby actuating the valves. A valve can include a port which provides for fluid communication between an exterior and an interior of the valve, a closure member which selectively permits and prevents fluid flow through the port, the closure member permits flow through the port in response to a decrease in a pressure differential from the interior to the exterior of the valve, and a locking device which prevents displacement of the closure member, the locking device being released in response to mechanical force applied to the locking device.

摘要: A downhole assembly for tool actuation using pressure delay is provided. The downhole assembly can include a chamber, a pressure path, a pressure damper, a pressure source, and a member. The pressure path can be positioned between first and second ends of the chamber. The pressure damper can reduce a rate at which pressure is communicated in the pressure path. Pressure from the pressure source can be communicated to the first end of the chamber and the second end of the chamber at different rates. The member can be positioned in the chamber between the first end and the second end. The member can actuate a downhole tool in response to a pressure difference between the first end and the second end. The pressure difference can result from a difference in between the first rate and the second rate.

摘要: A fracturing tool features spaced releasable packers with an outlet in between. The housing has relatively moving components for opening the frac port between the packers with weight set on the lower packer. Once the frac port is opened the upper packer is set and the pumping begins. The upper packer can be released so that tension can be pulled on the lower packer to close the frac port and open a through passage in the housing. In one embodiment the through passage can be located above the lower packer to a sand jet perforator to clean debris away from the lower packer if it is difficult to release the lower packer or to abrasively perforate through a tubular. In another embodiment the housing outlet can be below bottom packer to perform a treatment further downhole or to operate another tool. The straddle tool can be run in on coiled tubing.

摘要: A tubular assembly includes a tubular having at least one opening. A slidable sleeve is slidingly mounted relative to the tubular. The slidable sleeve is shiftable between a first position, and a second position. A biasing member selectively biases the slidable sleeve in one of the first position and the second position. A degradable locking member is mounted relative to one of the tubular and the slidable sleeve. The degradable locking member selectively retains the slidable sleeve in the other of the first position and the second position. The degradable locking member is configured to degrade when exposed to a downhole fluid allowing the biasing member to shift the slidable sleeve back to the one of the first position and the second position.

摘要: An actuating apparatus for actuating a downhole tool in a wellbore casing comprising an actuating member and a holding device. The actuating member disposed within an outer housing of the downhole tool and the holding device mechanically coupled to the arming member. When a ball deployed into the wellbore casing passes through the downhole tool in a downhole direction and moves back in an uphole direction due to reverse flow, the ball engages on the holding device and functions the actuating member such that a port in the downhole tool is exposed to uphole pressure and actuates the actuating member to travel in an uphole direction.
