    摘要: Methods and apparatus of pressure activated completion tools for hydraulic fracturing and related processes are provided. In some embodiments, the hydraulic fracturing apparatuses for accessing a subterranean formations can include a tubular body to be fluidly connected in-line with a completion string, the tubular body having at least one burst port configured to receive burst inserts (burst plugs), and a movable inner sleeve that can slide along the inside of the tubular body when exposed to hydraulic pressure from a first position to a second position. The tubular body can also have flow-port(s) that are blocked when the movable inner sleeve is in the first position and opened when the movable inner sleeve slides to the second position.

In one aspect a stage tool for wellbore cementing comprises an external stage tool body and a sliding sleeve within the external stage tool body configured to regulate cement flow through the stage tool. At least a portion of the sliding sleeve comprises a meltable alloy configured to seal a leak. The meltable alloy is configured to be melted by a heating source, flow into the leak, and resolidify as the melted alloy cools, thereby sealing the leak.

    摘要: A system for use in completing a wellbore includes a portion of a workstring extending into the wellbore such that a first annulus is created between the workstring and a portion of the wellbore. The portion of the workstring is inserted to a depth corresponding to a base, such as a sump packer that defines a lower boundary of the completion zone. The zone of deployment may be sealed uphole by a second packer included in the workstring. A service tool having an inner sleeve, an outer sleeve, and a rotating mandrel positioned therebetween is provided to deliver fluids and execute completion operations as facilitated by rotation of the mandrel. Rotation of the mandrel allows for control of multiple fluid flow paths, each of which may correspond to a completion process within the zone, without displacement of the service tool in an uphole or downhole direction.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to downhole tools, including downhole valves, which actuate via a pressure differential created across a shifting element having one or more pressure surfaces isolated from fluid, and fluid pressure, flowing through the interior flowpath. Embodiment downhole tools of the present disclosure may actuate in response to, among other signals, fluid pressure in the interior flowpath of the tool and fluid pressure communicated to a pressure surface of the shifting sleeve from the exterior of the tool. Certain embodiments may also have an outlet connector whereby fluid pressure from the downhole tool may be communicated to its exterior, including to additional tools in the tubing strings via flowlines connecting the two tools. Isolation of the shifting element from the interior flowpath may be accomplished using a frangible, shiftable, degradable or other member which may be moved from a closed state to an open state in response to fluid conditions in the interior flowpath.

    摘要: A pressure actuated module associated with a subterranean tool is set with pressure in the well annulus supplemented by added pressure. The addition of pressure to the hydrostatic opens access to a setting piston that is referenced to a low pressure chamber. The piston strokes to a travel stop reducing the volume of the atmospheric chamber while setting the tool. After the tool is set the annulus is communicated to the low pressure reference chamber for the actuating piston to remove a residual net force on the setting piston after the set. One way to do this is to sequentially break multiple rupture discs at different pressures. Another is to have a degradable member in the atmospheric chamber. A piston is fixed in place during setting, and shifts with the application of additional pressure allowing pressure to pass through a port between the annulus and the atmospheric chamber.
