    摘要: A valve seat member has a valve seat with a fuel injection aperture. A valve body is movable between a close position wherein the valve body is put on the valve seat and an open position wherein the valve body is separated from the valve seat. A biasing member biases the valve body in a direction of the close position. An electromagnetic coil, upon energization, moves the valve body in a direction of the open position against the biasing force of the biasing member. A nozzle plate is connected to the valve seat member in a manner to cover the fuel injection aperture. The nozzle plate has at a part thereof facing the fuel injection aperture a domed portion that is projected away from the fuel injection aperture. The domed portion has a plurality of fuel injection openings. A side wall extends around and along a periphery of the nozzle plate so as to form a fuel holding recess that is defined by the nozzle plate other than domed portion and the side wall. The fuel holding recess is able to hold a certain amount of a fuel by the force of a surface tension possessed by the fuel.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for operating an injection valve of an internal combustion engine, whereby the metering of fuel is adjustable in particular by varying the stroke of the nozzle needle of the injection valve. Methods and injections valves of this type are generally known from the related art. The aim of the present invention is to provide a method which makes it possible to prevent an incomplete closure of the valve due to soiling (the risk of damage caused by a gasoline-filled cylinder) in operating states of the internal combustion engine in which no complete strokes of the nozzle needle occur over a prolonged period of time and the nozzle is therefore not sufficiently scavenged. According to the present invention, the nozzle is scavenged with fuel when a jammed-open operating state of the nozzle needle is detected.

    摘要: An injector has an orifice plate formed with plural orifices. At a radially outward position of the orifice plate is disposed a wall at least partially. It is preferable that the wall be disposed at a lower position in the direction of gravity. In the wall is formed a guide hole toward an area on the orifice plate where a strong negative pressure is developed. A portion of fuel injected from the injector adheres as adhered fuel to the orifice plate or the wall. Under the action of a negative pressure on the orifice plate the guide hole sucks in the adhered fuel and returns it onto the surface of the orifice plate. The adhered fuel flows from the wall onto the surface of the orifice plate and again joins a fuel jet injected from the orifices. By utilizing a negative pressure developed near the plural orifices, the adhered fuel can be recovered and again injected. Consequently, it is possible to decrease the amount of adhered fuel.

A nozzle hole projection of the nozzle hole channel has a channel wall with a wall height (h) extending away from the inner surface and is configured over a circumference of the nozzle hole projection so that the second channel end corresponds to a channel wall end of the channel wall configured so as to face away from the front surface.

    摘要: A fuel injection valve for an internal combustion engine may include an injector body having a receiving hole for an injector needle. The receiving hole may be implemented as a blind hole and may form an injector ring chamber in the injector shaft and a cone-shaped valve seat at the base thereof, and a blind injector hole at the tip of the valve seat cone, from which at least one injector hole extends. The injector needle may include an at least partially cone-shaped needle tip and may seal off the blind injector hole, and thus the at least one injector hole, from the injector ring chamber. The needle tip may include a needle pilot adapted in contour and extent to the blind injector hole in the valve seat, the pilot protruding into the blind injector hole and thus reducing a compression volume formed between the valve seat and injector hole.
