The LED night light incorporates optics means such as an optics-lens, slides, openings, or cut-outs, and/or a transparent material piece, translucent material piece, telescope assembly, housing-member, slide-film, slide-disc, elastic-member, tilt-means, rotating-means, adjust-means, roller-means, mechanical-means, extend-means, convex lens, and/or concave lens designed to make the desired image, message, data, logo, or time project to the ceiling, walls, floor, or other desired surface to be seen by a viewer. The LED light has an interchangeable power source arrangement, permitting the night light to be selectively powered by either an AC powered sealed-unit or a DC powered battery-pack.

The LED work light assembly also includes a mounting arrangement carried by the housing and comprising a pivot mount that includes a spherical socket and a bolt having a spherical ball positioned at one end and a threaded shaft at an opposite end. The ball is positioned in the socket to provide a ball-and-socket interface, and the housing is pivotal about the ball-and-socket interface to adjust a position of the housing relative to the bolt.

    摘要： An electrically conductive ball joint and lighting fixtures using the joint are disclosed. The joint has a ball with a first portion connected to a first electrical signal and a second portion connected to a second electrical signal. The first and second portions are electrically isolated from one another by a nonconductive bushing. A socket receives the ball and has a first set of electrical contacts adapted to make contact with the first portion of the ball and a second set of electrical contacts adapted to make contact with the second portion of the ball. The two portions of the ball are unequal, with one portion being larger than the other. The lighting fixtures generally comprise a base and two or more arms connected to the base. The arms are connected to one another electrically and structurally with the electrically conductive ball joints, and may be counterweighted.

    摘要： A retractable lamp assembly is provided for illuminating at least a portion of a work surface from a wide range of heights and angles by way of extendable shafts and pivot joints. The lamp may be stowed in a retracted or lowered configuration when not in use, in which a substantial portion of the extendable structure is stowed inside of a housing that is located substantially below the work surface, to provide a generally unobtrusive configuration. An upper cover serves as a light reflector when the lamp is in use, and may serve as a cover positioned at or near the work surface when the lamp is stowed. Optionally, the lamp assembly includes include power and data and wire management capabilities for use at the work surface.
