Abstract:
A timepiece includes two hands (14, 16) advancing in superposition to display a first item of information regarding the current time. On demand, by operating a control (17), one of the two hands moves relative to the first to display a second item of information regarding the current time, the two hands returning to a superposed position when the control is released.

Abstract:
A time indication device includes a time display body, a controller, an hour hand module, a minute hand module, and a second hand module. The hour hand module includes an hour hand ring placed around the time display body. An hour hand driving unit connected to the controller, and controlled by the controller to drive the hour hand ring to rotate around the time display body. An hour hand projecting unit, fixed to the hour hand ring, for projecting an hour hand on the time display body. Thus, when the hour hand ring is driven by the hour hand driving unit to rotate around the time display body, it is shown that the hour hand moves on the time display body. The minute hand module and the second hand module have nearly the same structure as the hour hand module.
Abstract:
The timepiece display device includes a rotating analogue indicator member (21), a first counter wheel set (38) and a second counter wheel set (44), whose positions are respectively representative of two magnitudes to be displayed by said indicator member (21), and a switch mechanism (40) with manual control (23) for selectively displaying the first or second magnitude via the indicator member. The display device is characterized in that the switch mechanism includes a rotating arbour (73) kinematically connected to the indicator member (21) and a sliding wheel set (71) secured to the arbour in rotation and provided for sliding, via the action of the manual control device (23), so as to selectively occupy on the arbour (73) a first axial position, in which the sliding wheel set (71) is coupled with the first counter wheel set (38), and a second axial position, in which the sliding wheel set (71) is coupled with the second counter wheel set (44).

Abstract:
A display mechanism is described, driven by the hour wheel of a mechanical or quartz horological movement, the hour wheel driving a cam controlling a rack turning about an axis and arranged in engagement with a pinion, secured to an hour hand, the cam having a configuration allowing different spaces or angles between the hours to be displayed.
Abstract:
A mechanism is disclosed for setting a clock hand, which indicates for example a date in defined positions of a scale. The mechanism comprises a cam disc and a first rake which is connected to the cam disc in a force-transmitting manner and has teeth which engage into the teeth of a pinion and transmit a force. A second rake likewise has teeth that engage into the teeth of the pinion, wherein the second rake exerts a force on the teeth of the pinion that is opposite to the force exerted by the first rake exerts on the pinion. According to the invention, the first rake and the second rake are arranged so as to overlap, and the second rake can likewise be borne pivotally around the first axle. The embodiment has the advantage that it is space-saving and the rakes stabilize one another mutually.
Abstract:
Watch comprising a mechanism (50) for driving a device (1) that displays a time-dependent value, this drive mechanism (50) itself being driven by the movement of the watch, this watch also having at least one first correction element (42) acting on the display device (50) via a clockwork mechanism (2) of the drive mechanism (50), and at least one second correction element (48) acting directly on the device (1) that displays the time-dependent value, the watch being characterised in that the drive mechanism (50) is arranged so as to drive the device (1) that displays a time-dependent value in both directions when the first correction element (42) is operated, and so as to be overridden when the second correction element (48) is operated, acting directly on the device (1) that displays a time-dependent value.
Abstract:
A clock 1000 of the invention includes a dead-weight body, dead-weight body lifting means 100 for lifting the dead-weight body supplied to a lower position to an upper position, a rotation wheel 210 having, at its periphery, plural reception parts 212 which can hold the dead-weight body, and an escapement mechanism which actuates the rotation wheel intermittently. The dead-weight lifting means includes a drive body 110 provided with a spiral drive surface having a horizontal or inclined axis, and a rotation drive source which rotation-drives the drive body around the axis. The dead-weight lifting means is constructed such that the dead-weight body is driven on the drive surface by rotation of the drive body thereby to be translated from the lower position to the upper position. The dead-weight body lifted by the dead-weight lifting means to the upper position is supplied to the upper reception part, whereby the rotation wheel rotates by the predetermined angle. Thereafter, the dead-weight body exhausted from the reception part is returned to the lower position. Hereby, it is possible to provide a novel clock structure suitable for a moving mechanism clock, in which the operation can be performed with smaller drive force than the conventional drive force, consumption energy is small, and appreciation of the mechanism operation is superior.
