摘要: A clock 1000 of the invention includes a dead-weight body, dead-weight body lifting means 100 for lifting the dead-weight body supplied to a lower position to an upper position, a rotation wheel 210 having, at its periphery, plural reception parts 212 which can hold the dead-weight body, and an escapement mechanism which actuates the rotation wheel intermittently. The dead-weight lifting means includes a drive body 110 provided with a spiral drive surface having a horizontal or inclined axis, and a rotation drive source which rotation-drives the drive body around the axis. The dead-weight lifting means is constructed such that the dead-weight body is driven on the drive surface by rotation of the drive body thereby to be translated from the lower position to the upper position. The dead-weight body lifted by the dead-weight lifting means to the upper position is supplied to the upper reception part, whereby the rotation wheel rotates by the predetermined angle. Thereafter, the dead-weight body exhausted from the reception part is returned to the lower position. Hereby, it is possible to provide a novel clock structure suitable for a moving mechanism clock, in which the operation can be performed with smaller drive force than the conventional drive force, consumption energy is small, and appreciation of the mechanism operation is superior.

摘要: A non-volatile flash memory (100) that may have an improved layout freedom is disclosed. Non-volatile flash memory (100) may include banks (B0 and B1). Each bank (B0 and B1) may include memory cell arrays (MCA00 to MCA03) including a plurality of memory cells (MC) connected to sub bit lines (LB). A plurality of sub bit lines (LB) may be selectively connected to a main bit line (MB) by a group switch (Y1S0 and Y1S1). A group of main bit lines (MB) may be disposed over a memory cell array. A group of main bit lines (MB) may be selectively connected to a sense amplifier block (SAB) by a group switch group (Y2S0 and Y2S1) and a bank switch group (Y3S0 and Y3S1). In this way, a sense amplifier block (SAB) may be shared by a plurality of groups of main bit lines (MB). In this way, layout freedom may be improved.

摘要: The size of an electronic timepiece is decreased through improvement in the design of the gear train. The improvements are directed primarily to the number of teeth on the wheel attached to the seconds hand and the relation of the pitch interval of this wheel to that of the wheel which drives the seconds wheel.

摘要: The degenerating condition of the power source in an electronic timepiece, that is, a diminished battery voltage, is indicated to the user by unusual performance of the watch bands. Short periods of accelerated or decelerated hand movements alert the user to the battery condition. Persistent though intermittent unusual hand behavior distinguishes the battery life signals from malfunctions or poor timekeeping. A voltage detector circuit monitors the power source and on low voltage initiates the warning signals which are derived from the divider network of the timepiece. Mechanically resetting the hands to remove the visible effects or erratic hand movement, serves to reset the battery life detector circuits and repeat the warnings.
