摘要: The disclosed technology provides solutions for facilitating the selection of a parking space by a user of a parking application. A process of the disclosed technology can include steps for monitoring sensor data and location data associated with a user device, retrieving, based on the location data associated with a user device, listing data associated with one or more parking spaces in a vicinity of the user device, and capturing image data that includes at least a portion of the one or more parking spaces. In some aspects, the process may further include steps for overlaying one or more graphical objects onto the image data, wherein the one or more graphical objects are based on the listing data associated with the one or more parking spaces. Systems and machine-readable media are also provided.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure include a navigation system and computer-implemented methods for proactively re-routing vehicles based on an analysis of input component data obtained from the navigation-enabled devices. The navigation system scores the input component data to obtain a measure of frustration (e.g., a feeling of being upset or annoyed) of the user of the navigation-enabled device. The navigation system may provide a detour suggestion for display on the navigation-enabled device to persuade the user of the device to direct their vehicle to depart from its current location or route in an effort to remove the vehicle from traffic, and thereby reduce the frustration level of the user. The detour suggestion may include an alternative route to the original destination, or an alternative destination.

摘要: In one embodiment, a computing system receives an indication of current mobile device usage by a user. The user is also associated with one or more past user states that are accessible to the computing system. The computing system selects a future user state of the user based on a calculated probability of a possible future user state. The possible future user state is calculated based on the current mobile-device usage and the past user states. For each past user states, a weight based on a time delay factor is used. Based on the selected future user state, the operation of a mobile device of the user is adapted at the future time corresponding to the future user state.

摘要: A method of processing speed data is disclosed for use in the provision of enhanced map data including a plurality of navigable segments which together may define a navigable route in an area covered by a digital map. In at least one embodiment, the method includes (i) obtaining the speed data for at least one segment, the speed data including the measured speed of travel of a plurality of vehicles through the segment at different times; (ii) generating from the speed data for the at least one segment, data on at least one normal speed profile including an average speed of travel through the segment for a time recurring weekly; (iii) for at least one specified time, generating for the at least one segment data on at least one abnormal speed profile including an expected speed of travel through the segment during the specified time, the specified time being a time that does not occur weekly; and (iv) assigning to the at least one segment of the map data the corresponding normal speed profile and the abnormal speed profile for use by a navigation device in routing algorithms to determine a journey across the area.

摘要: Various embodiments can predict a user's intended driving route in order to provide the user with traffic warnings for traffic conditions along the same. A user's driving route, in at least one embodiment, is predicted by collecting travel data, such as information associated with the date, time, location, and direction for trips made within a network of roads over time. Instead of keeping the travel data anonymous, the travel data is associate or linked to the user's account or stored in a user profile in order to build a history of travel patterns for the user over time. The travel patterns can then be used to predict when a user is going to travel or make a trip and, upon identifying a context indicative of a travel pattern, traffic information for a route associated with the pattern is obtained and provided to the user's computing device.

A method identifies a characteristic of an environment, wherein the characteristic is based on profile information associated with entities in the environment. The method also determines control information associated with providing preferences associated with the characteristic. In another case, an apparatus stores first profile information for a first entity, wherein the first profile information is configured to be evaluated, along with second profile information associated with a second entity, by a receiving device in an environment. In another case, an apparatus retrieves, from a device in an environment, profile information associated with entities in the environment. The apparatus can determine support care based on the profile information.
