摘要： In an electric device, a cable-supporting element for receiving an electric supply cable is formed of two disengagably-connectable portions, of which the first portion is formed with an extension inserted into a hole of a respective shape, formed in the cover of the housing of the electric device. The first portion is then displaced relative to that hole so that a projection formed on the extension, overlaps an inner edge of the recess and engages the latter. The second portion provided with a filling piece is then set onto the first portion so that the filling piece fills, together with the remaining part of the extension, the hole. The first and second portions are then locked to each other.

摘要： An electrical plug and socket connection which is suitable for Diesel engine unit governors containing oil under pressure and which given the hard operation prevailing in motor vehicles is embodied as tight with respect to pressure, lubricating oil and splashing water and as vibration-proof. The electrical plug and socket connection has a first plug part (3), which is directed in a pressure-tight manner out of a housing (1) of the governor and in which plugs (11) are disposed, likewise in a pressure-tight manner. A second plug part (16) having plug sockets (29) for receiving the insertion sections (12) of the plugs (11), which sockets (29) are disposed in a sealed manner with respect to splashing water and soiling, has means (22, 34, 39, 40) for the sealed and strain-relieved reception of a cable (33), the stranded conductors (32) of which are secured on the plug sockets (29). The second plug part (16) is held on the first plug part (3) so firmly, in the inserted state, by a covering connection nut (42) that no relative movement is possible between the plug parts (3, 16) and thus between the plugs (11, 12) and the plug sockets (29).

摘要： A cartridge holder and interconnect system is disclosed formed primarily of two components, namely, a cartridge and an assembly for receiving and holding the cartridge. The holder assembly includes a housing of rigid insulative material and a connector member adapted to engage a circuit board or the like and to engage the cartridge. The holder assembly also has a replaceable face plate profiled for polarizing and keying reception of an appropriate cartridge in the housing. The face plate is detachably secured to the housing so that by simply replacing the face plate the housing can be adapted to receive different cartridges. The housing is also adapted to be situated spaced above a circuit board so as to accommodate components thereunder thereby preserving the available surface of circuit board. The cartridge is formed by a two-piece housing enclosing a circuit board having components, such as integrated circuits, mounted thereon and held within the cartridge in such fashion as to obviate the need for potting, etc. The cartridge also has a connector portion with a profiled mating face for keying and means for covering or exposing a reflective surface used to disable a writing capability for the circuit carried by the cartridge.

摘要： A vacuum cleaner hose adapter comprises a generally cylindrical housing which connects at one end to an electrified vacuum cleaner hose receptacle and which connects at the other end to a vacuum cleaner hose. An electrical contact arrangement is provided to connect with the electrified vacuum cleaner hose receptacle and to bring the power to a first electrical connector on the adapter. In use, a standard-type vacuum cleaner hose may be inserted into the adapter and the electrical power cord thereof be engaged with the electrical connector on the adapter. The adapter is then plugged into the vacuum cleaner hose receptacle for electrically contacting the electrical contacts of the vacuum cleaner hose receptacle to provide power to the electrical connector.
