Each of the repeaters includes: an Rx antenna; a receiver configured to convert a signal received through the Rx antenna into a digital signal; an interference cancellation unit configured to cancel interference from an output signal of the receiver; a transmitter configured to convert an output signal of the interference cancellation unit into an analog signal; and a Tx antenna configured to transmit an output signal of the transmitter, and the interference cancellation to unit provided in each of the repeaters receives the output signal of the receiver as an input signal, receives reference signals provided from the plurality of repeaters as a reference signal vector, outputs a prediction signal according to a current filter coefficient vector generated in response to the input signal and the reference signal vector, and cancels the prediction signal from the input signal.

    摘要: A technique for self-interference suppression control for a relay node is provided. The relay node comprises a transmitter and a receiver, and is adapted to transmit and received simultaneously using the same frequency channel or using proximate frequency channels. The relay node further comprises an interference signal estimator having a first input adapted to receive a transmitter signal from the transmitter, a second input adapted to receive adaptation metric and an output adapted to output an estimated interference signal generated by the interference signal estimator based on the transmitter signal and the adaptation metric. A subtractor is coupled to the output of interference signal estimator and configured to subtract the estimated interference signal from a received signal in the receiver so as to actively cancel a signal transmitted from the relay node that leaks back into the receiver of the relay node to suppress self-interference.

    摘要: Systems and methodologies for employing a multi-user Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) relay protocol with self-interference cancellation in a wireless communication environment are provided herein. Data streams sent between user device(s) and base station(s) can traverse through a relay. Further, a decode and forward protocol can be employed by the relay rather than merely amplifying and forwarding the data streams. Moreover, each user device can listen to and decode data stream(s) sent by other user device(s) to the relay, and these decoded data stream(s) can be utilized for interference cancellation. Further, the user device(s) and the base station(s) can employ self-interference cancellation upon signals received from the relay. According to another example, an adaptive relay power allocation algorithm, which enhances power efficiency, can be leveraged by the relay for transmitting signals to the user device(s) and the base station(s).
