Abstract:
A device includes a box with holes in its wings to fit setscrews and holes to insert pivots fixed to part of a piece of furniture to be attached with a handle mounted on an inside of the box that slides lengthways. This handle has holes, mounting holes and oval holes to insert the setscrews and lower wedges to drive heads of the pivots bringing two parts of the furniture to be assembled together and securing them and a spring to move the handle on the inside of the box and a lid to close the box.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a quick-change attachment to connect a tool, preferably, to the boom of a hydraulic excavator, comprising a boom-connecting quick-change attachment component to accommodate a tool, one end of which has a pin, and the other end of which is retained within a bearing of the quick-change attachment by positive-fit or friction engagement. According to the invention, a bushing in the form of a half-liner having a large support angle is inserted in the bearing.
Abstract:
A tool coupler comprises a coupler frame and an attachment frame. The attachment frame is provided with two hooks that engage two catches located on the coupler frame. The coupler frame is provided with two locking pins and the attachment frame is provided with two receiving apertures, for locking the coupler frame to the attachment frame. Both locking pins are actuated by a double acting hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder is slidably mounted on the coupler frame. The hydraulic cylinder is provided with a barrel end having the first locking pin and a piston rod having the second locking pin. The coupler frame and the hydraulic cylinder are provided with limiters which limit the sliding movement the piston rod and the barrel end relative to the coupler frame.
Abstract:
A system can include a rigid or semi-rigid container, a caddy and a cart. A connector can be provided which is operable to provide for a first connection between the cart and the container and a second connection between the container and the caddy. At least one of the first connection and the second connection is a releasable connection. The container is also releasably attachable to said cart. Also provided is a method of using the components of the system. The system and method are well suited for application in shopping environments.
Abstract:
A locking mechanism includes a centering axle having an engaging member defined at one end thereof, a sleeve encompassing a portion of the centering axle, and a clutch device that securely receives the sleeve and permits rotation of the centering axle and the sleeve in only one direction. The centering axle defines a plurality of equally spaced grooves, and the sleeve defines a plurality of equally spaced grooves corresponding to the grooves of the centering axle in an opposed manner. Each pair of opposed grooves of the centering axle and sleeve define a narrow passageway that accommodates a ball bearing that is slidable along the longitudinal axis of the centering axle and between the sleeve and centering axle. The ball bearing in each passageway permits longitudinal movement of the centering axle relative to the sleeve and prohibits rotation of the centering axle relative to the sleeve.
Abstract:
A connecting assembly of a ceiling for fixing blades includes a connecting device mounted to a motor of the ceiling fan and a seat having multiple grooves radially defined in a bottom of the seat. The grooves extend to an outer periphery of the seat. A channel is laterally defined in one side of each of the multiple grooves and laterally communicates with the groove. A buckle is movably received in a corresponding one of the channels. A bracket has a first end inserted into a corresponding one of the multiple grooves and a second end adapted to connected to a blade of the ceiling fan. Each bracket has an indentation laterally defined for selectively partially receiving the buckle to hold the bracket in place when the first end of the bracket is inserted into the corresponding one of the multiple grooves in the seat.
Abstract:
A brush mounting system for a wafer scrubbing device includes a brush mandrel and a mounting assembly on which the brush mandrel is mounted. The mounting assembly includes a mounting member adapted to be mounted to a wall of the wafer scrubbing device, and a bearing secured to the mounting member. A brush support is rotatably mounted on the bearing and has an outer end that includes a contact surface adapted to contact the brush mandrel. The contact surface has a spherical profile. The brush mandrel includes a corresponding contact surface having a spherical profile, so that the brush mandrel and the mounting assembly form a spherical joint at the point of contact.
Abstract:
A clamping system includes a clamping device that is coaxially located in a receiving section and that extends into the hollow shaft of one piece when two pieces are joined. The clamping system further includes two clamping bodies that can be displaced in opposite directions and an actuating device that drives the clamping bodies. The actuating device displaces the clamping bodies in a synchronous manner into an engaged relation and a disengaged relation with an undercut clamping shoulder of the hollow shaft, whereby a pressure force is applied between the flat surfaces of the two pieces to be connected.
Abstract:
Couplers for a cable trough system including a terminal end sized to receive a terminal end of a trough member along a longitudinal direction of the body. A spring may be coupled to the body for securing the terminal end of the trough member to the coupler, the spring including first and second spring arms extending generally in opposition to one another in a plane generally parallel to the longitudinal direction. The spring may be received in a slot formed by the trough member. Also included may be a spring release mechanism coupled to the body, the spring release mechanism sliding in the longitudinal direction between a locked position, such that the first and second spring arms engage the terminal end of the trough, and an unlocked position, such that the first and second fingers release the first and second arms of the spring.
Abstract:
A separable connector assembly includes a connecting member having a threaded end, and a hollow housing having a cylindrical wall that contains a body rotatably mounted therein. This body is threadably engageable with the threaded end of the connecting member. A first mechanism releasably restrains the body from rotating, and a second mechanism is included for winding a spring about the cylindrical wall of the housing. A third mechanism is included for releasing the spring. A fourth mechanism is included for restraining the threaded end from rotating. A fifth mechanism is included for applying a selected tensile load. When the load is applied, a thread geometry of the connecting member causes the load to be resolved as a torque applied to the body sufficient to cause the body to rotate enabling the connecting member to translate out of engagement with the body and subsequently separate from the body.
