摘要： Provided is a chain block with which wheel cover strength can be improved while inhibiting an increase in cost, without the need for separate reinforcement members. A chain block is provided with a wheel cover which is attached to a frame member, and which covers a hand-chain wheel having a hand chain looped thereover. A plurality of fixation holes for having fixation members inserted therethrough during attachment to the frame member are provided in peripheral edge sections of end-surface sides of the wheel cover, said end-surface sides being disposed facing the frame member. Wrap-around portions are provided to wheel-cover side surfaces which intersect the end surfaces, said wrap-around portions being formed so as to surround, at an angle exceeding 90, the fixation holes in the peripheral direction of the fixation holes.

摘要： A invention relates to a chain shackle for fastening a hoist chain of a chain hoist to a hoisting member or the chain hoist. The chain shackle includes two identical shackle halves installable against each other to work together in such a manner that they form between them a first space for one chain loop or chain loop half of the hoist chain to lock it against the hoisting direction or force. The first space is open in a first direction in the longitudinal direction of the chain shackle. A second space is connected to the first space and intended for a second hoist chain loop that is coupled with the first chain loop or is to be coupled with a chain loop half. The second space is open in both longitudinal directions of the hoist chain.

摘要： A hoist with a regenerative resistor contains the following in a casing: a load-raising/lowering motor driven by an inverter control device and provided with a forced-cooling means; and a mechanism part containing a reduction mechanism part and a load sheave that uses power from the reduction mechanism part to take up and let out a chain. The load-raising/lowering motor, mechanism part, inverter control device, and regenerative resistor are distributed inside the casing to achieve a balance of weight about the center of gravity of the load applied when raising or lowering. Also, the inverter control device and the regenerative resistor are affixed to the casing, in close contact therewith, in parts of the casing separated from each other with the mechanism part therebetween.

One advantage of winches shown includes an ability to lower a boom or boom sections into limited access exit pit for winching operations such as pipe bursting. Sectional boom designs shown provide the ability to easily raise and lower a boom large distances without the need for a single long boom. Selected winch designs shown include flexible inserts between the boom and the winch frame that help resist damage from unforeseen shifting of the device during operation. Designs and methods shown also include multiple pulleys on a boom end unit. Fasteners are shown that reduce build up of debris.

摘要： To provide a hand operated chain block capable of facilitating the fitting of the brake cover to the related side plate without worsening the appearance of the chain block, a brake cover is provided, at a marginal portion therearound, with a flange portion extending outwardly in the same direction as one side plate to abut with the one side plate, and the flange portion is provided, at a marginal portion therearound, with recesses fittable to the stay bolts. The recesses are brought into engagement with the related stay bolts by fitting the recesses to the related stay bolts, thus enabling the brake cover to be easily fixed in place and also be prevented from being disengaged from the one side plate accidentally.

摘要： A device for connecting a winch to a box hitch in a variety of orientations. The winch connector is generally comprised of an elongated length of square, cross-sectional tubular material having a winch end and a hitch connecting end. The hitch connecting end includes a hole formed through each of the connectors four walls. The holes formed through opposite walls being axially aligned. By placing the hitch end of the connector into a conventional box hitch, and passing a pin through the holes formed through the hitch and connector, the connector will be securely attached to the hitch. To reorient the connector, it may be removed from the hitch and rotated 90, 180 or 270 degrees about its longitudinal axis and then reinserted into the hitch. This will place the winch in a different orientation with respect to the truck. The connector may be adaptively formed to fit in either a class 2 or class 3 box hitch.

摘要： A compact, light weight, back packable winch and power source, including a cable quick release device to facilitate single handed use of the winch. The power train and cable retrieval mechanisms are mounted on one side of a back pack frame or platform, and straps and padding enabling the mechanism to be carried like a back pack are mounted on the other side of the frame together with folding legs that assist in supporting the assembly during operation. A substantial quantity of small diameter cable is wound onto the winch spool by a level wind mechanism. The spool and level wind mechanism are powered, through chain and sprocket assemblies, by a hydraulic motor. The hydraulic motor is powered by a compact gasoline engine that operates a hydraulic pump to supply hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic motor, controlled by a flow control valve. The quick release utilizes pincers attached to the cable end and a shroud that holds the pincers closed around a chain link or loop and that may be slipped out of engagement with the pincers to permit them to open and release the load attached to the chain link or loop.
