摘要: An aerial panoramic oblique photography apparatus includes a pod body provided with at least two nadir cameras and a plurality of oblique cameras. The at least two nadir cameras are arranged in a transverse direction, and the shooting regions of adjacent nadir cameras of the at least two nadir cameras are partially overlapping. Since the aerial panoramic oblique photography apparatus is provided with at least two transversely arranged nadir cameras, a plurality of stripes of aerial images is obtained for each aerial oblique photo-shooting operation. This can increase photo-shooting efficiency, reduce the number of flight, and lower photo-shooting cost. The combination of at least two nadir cameras and a plurality of oblique cameras can capture texture of the sides of urban buildings from multiple angles. Three-dimensional real scenery model of a city can be established more efficiently and completely.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for performing a zoom operation are described using multiple optical chains in a camera device. At least one optical chain in the camera device includes a moveable light redirection device, said light redirection device being one of a substantially plane mirror or a prism. The moveable light redirection device is moved to a position in accordance with a zoom setting, and a portion of a scene area of interest in captured. Different discrete zoom setting values correspond to different positions of the moveable light redirection device resulting in different capture areas. In some embodiments, multiple optical chains with moveable light redirection devices are used to capture different portions of a scene of interest. A composite image is generated from a plurality of captured images corresponding to different optical chains. A higher zoom setting corresponds to more overlap between captured images of different optical chains.

摘要: An image pickup apparatus, image processing apparatus and corresponding program and method are disclosed. In one example, a second captured image acquired from another apparatus is aligned with a first captured image. Image stabilization is carried out in response to a positional relation between the captured images. For example, when overlapping between the captured images is equal to or smaller than an image stabilization limitation threshold value, the image stabilization is stopped or a correction range is limited for at least one of the captured images. When the amount of overlapping is larger than the image stabilization limitation threshold value, the image stabilization for both of the captured images is carried out without limitation. The captured images are aligned with each other by using the captured image with limited image stabilization, or both captured images where stabilization is carried out without limitation, thereby producing a panoramic image.

摘要: Camera related methods and apparatus which are well suited for use in capturing stereoscopic image data, e.g., pairs of left and right eye images, are described. Various features relate to a camera rig which can be used to mount multiple cameras at the same time. In some embodiments the camera rig includes 3 mounting locations corresponding to 3 different directions 120 degrees apart. One or more of the mounting locations may be used at a given time. When a single camera pair is used the rig can be rotated to capture images corresponding to the locations where a camera pair is not mounted. Static images from those locations can then be combined with images corresponding to the forward direction to generate a 360 degree view. Alternatively camera pairs or individual cameras can be included in each of the mounting locations to capture video in multiple directions.

摘要: An immersive display system is disclosed that includes screens configured to mitigate reduction in contrast ratio due at least in part to peripheral light incident on the screens. The immersive display system includes at least two screens and at least two projector systems. The screens have a multi-layered structure configured to selectively reflect light for controlled periods of time. Adjacent screens can be configured to selectively reflect light during different periods of time. The projector systems can be configured to project video onto their respective screens while the associated screen is configured to selectively reflect light rather than absorb light.
