Abstract: A control device configured for use in a load control system to control an external electrical load may provide simple feedback regarding the operation of the control device. For example, the control device may comprise a base portion configured to be mounted to an electrical wallbox or over a mechanical switch, and a control unit connected to the base portion. The control unit may comprise a rotation portion rotatable with respect to the base portion, an actuation portion, and a light source. The control unit may be configured to control the light source to illuminate at least an illuminated portion of the actuation portion in response to actuations of the rotation portion and the actuation portion. In addition, the control unit may provide a limit indication on the illuminated portion by blinking the illuminated portion when the electrical load has reached a limit.

Abstract: Various arrangements for light distribution incorporated as part of a device are presented. A circular light guide may be used that receives light from a plurality of light emitters that can be arranged in a circular pattern. A conical reflector may be used and may be positioned to reflect light emitted from the circular light guide onto an exterior of a case of the device. The conical reflector may reflect light such that light is reflected by the exterior of the case in the shape of a halo into an ambient environment of the device.

Abstract: A knob with a display function includes a chassis with a knob ring and a rotary sensor. A display screen, a control circuit board, a reset device and a functional connection board are sequentially installed onto the chassis. A circuit board bracket is installed between the display screen and the control circuit board. The functional connection board has a confirm button, a connection terminal disposed on the back of the functional connection board. The reset device has a through hole for extending the confirm button to the outside, an end abutting and connecting the control circuit board and the other end abutting and connecting the functional connection board. This invention has the features of simple structure and reasonable design and selects a function by turning the knob ring. With the reset device, the application of the invention has high reliability and provides easy identification.

Abstract: Provided is an illumination system of a cooking appliance that includes at least one burner and an associated knob. The system comprises an electric circuit associated with the knob, with a display device in a second electrical branch that lights up when an electric current with a minimum value circulates through the second electrical branch. Activation means in a first electrical branch is operated by means of turning the knob. Both the first and second electrical branches are connected in parallel.
