    摘要: An X-ray imaging system has an X-ray head containing an x-ray source which emits an X-ray beam. The head is rotatable around a pair of orthogonal axes for orienting the emitted X-ray beam in space. A pair of head angle sensors are located with the X-ray head, each being associated with a different one of the pair of axes for measuring an angle of inclination of the X-ray head dependent on its rotation around its associated axis. A display is operably connected to each head angle sensor through a signal processing unit for providing a graphic displaying of angle information related to each of the measured angles collocated at a single viewing station.

The inspection systems include a transport system for transporting articles to be inspected into and out of the inspection system. An x-ray source is mounted on a first radial translation system adjacent one side of the article to be inspected for translation along an axis parallel to the article to be inspected. The first translation system is rotatably mounted about an axis perpendicular to the article to be inspected so that the x-ray source may be positioned and moved anywhere within an area by proper coordination of the angle of rotation of the rotary transport system and the translational position of the first translational system. The exemplary embodiment disclosed also includes a second translational system supported on the first translational system for movement of the x-ray source in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotary transport system.

    摘要: An X-ray examination apparatus has a base and a support connected by an arm arrangement. The support is connected to a holding device in which a curved carrier is displaceably mounted, the curved carrier having an X-ray emitter at one end and a radiation detector at an opposite end. An examination table is movable between the X-ray emitter and the radiation detector. The arm arrangement is composed of at least first and second arms. The first arm is rotatably mounted at a shaft at the base, and the second arm is rotatably mounted at a shaft at the carrier. The respective free ends of the first and second arms are rotatably connected to each other by another shaft. The carrier, without bothersome components of the stand beneath the examination table, can be rotated 90° from a head-adjusted position in both directions to lateral positions, while maintaining the isocenter at a fixed position, and the carrier also can be lowered to the floor on which the base is disposed. For this purpose, the first and second arms are disposed in different planes and have respective lengths, dependent on the position of the shaft at the base and the distance between the shaft of the support and the central beam of the X-ray emitter, so that the curved carrier, by means of the arms, can be rotated around an intersecting point formed by the central beam of the X-ray emitter cutting the center line of the examination table, with a centrally head-adjusted stand.

    摘要: An x-ray examination apparatus has a base with at least one fixed part and one carriage that can be vertically shifted in relation to the fixed part. The carriage is provided with a horizontally projecting shaft, to which an apparatus component is mounted and which has a center axis around which the apparatus component can rotate. A pulley with a peripheral surface that is at least partially round is rotationally mounted to the shaft and is firmly connected to the apparatus component. A first pair of wheels is arranged at the fixed part of the base and a connector is provided to connect the pulley to the wheels so that whenever the wheels are respectively simultaneously rotated in different directions, the pulley and thus the apparatus component are vertically shifted and whenever the wheels are rotated in the same direction, the pulley and thus the apparatus component are caused to rotate around the center axis.

    摘要: A radiographic imaging system including a solid state x-ray imager is disclosed. An x-ray tube is supported in a vertical x-ray tube support system alternately or in addition to a overhead angulating x-ray tube support system. A solid state x-ray imager is supported in a wall stand alternately or in addition to an angulating table stand. Associated sensors sense the position of the solid state x-ray imager, and a position controller adjusts the position of the x-ray tube such that the x-ray tube is positioned at the center of the solid state x-ray imager. Readout circuitry receives the analog image from the solid state x-ray imager and transmits the corresponding digital information to a digital processor for image creation or manipulation. The digital image may than be displayed on a digital imager acquisition and display system.

    摘要: A mobile device for an X-ray apparatus is formed of a freely rotatable hollow column disposed on a mobile base, a holding section for holding an X-ray tube in a vertical direction along the column, and a counter weight connected through a wire to the holding section to be suspended inside the column. A column rotating section formed of a bearing portion and a rotational shaft with a hollow part is disposed in the mobile base. A lower part of the counter weight is provided with a convex portion which enters into the hollow part of the rotational shaft. When the holding section for the X-ray tube is elevated to the highest point, the counter weight is lowered to the lowest point, wherein the convex portion of the counter weight enters into the hollow part of the rotational shaft. Thus, a volume of the hollow part can be utilized as a part of the volume of the counter weight to allow the counter weight to be made of iron and the like, other than lead.
