    摘要: An actuator for a spray valve is provided which includes an actuator head and spray producing body positioned within the head. The actuator head includes a mechanism for connecting the head to a spray valve and transfer channel for receiving a pressurized fluid from the spray valve. The transfer channel is formed with a terminal area surrounding an outlet orifice of the channel. The spray producing body is positioned against the terminal area and has a front wall distant therefrom. The spray producing body features a swirl chamber situated adjacent the outlet orifice, a first channel downstream from the swirl chamber, a second channel of narrower diameter and downstream from the first channel, an expansion orifice situated further downstream and at least four unconnected dead-ended recesses formed into the front wall and surrounding the expansion orifice.

    摘要: An overcap sprayer assembly and method of its manufacture. The overcap sprayer assembly includes an actuator and an overcap. The actuator has a body and a sprayer arm. The body attaches preferably to the valve cup rim of the can. A skirt extends circumferentially around the perimeter of the body. At least one actuator access port provides access through the skirt to the interior of the body. The sprayer arm of the actuator has a nozzle adapted to direct spray outwardly through an actuator access port. The overcap attaches to the skirt of the actuator body in coaxially turning relation thereto. An overcap wall extends downwardly from the outer margins of the overcap dome, surrounding the actuator body. The overcap also has at least one overcap access port that may be moved between an open position, wherein an overcap access port is aligned with the actuator access port through which the nozzle is adapted to direct spray, and a closed position, wherein the overcap wall obstructs the actuator access port. Preferably a lock member extends from one of the actuator body and the overcap to project into and engage an opposed locking port of the other of the actuator body and overcap. Preferably the locking port is an access port. The lock member has an unlocked position, wherein it is not engaged in an opposed locking port and the overcap may freely turn on the actuator body, and a locked position assumed when the lock member becomes aligned with an opposed locking port, projects thereinto, and engages the opposed locking port, resisting further overcap turning.

The holder has an arm extending radially and being hinged biasedly at a median point. A furthermost portion of the arm is adapted to contact the container or the valve to actuate the valve when the hinged portion of the arm is compressed by a gap between the door and the jamb thereof.

In the preferred embodiment, dissoluble foam markers would be periodically deposited upon the road behind a work crew to alert motorists of a potential hazard ahead, in order to avoid any collisions between the motorist and the work crew. As the work crew would move up on the road, the foam markers would naturally dissipate and substantially disappear over a predetermined or a relatively short period of time so that the roadway automatically returned to its original traffic pattern when the work crew has left the area. Foam markers according to the present invention would enhance the safety of a work crew's operations and increase work output by freeing the work crew from the obligation of retrieving the markers after they are used.
