摘要: A valve for closing a gas container includes a valve body with a continuous longitudinal bore along a longitudinal axis and a displaceably-guided valve tappet mounted therein. The valve body extends longitudinally parallel to the axis from a connection region with a connection-side end face to a fastening region with a gas-container-side end face having a smaller diameter than the connection region. The connection region has a stop face that stops a gas container base-body head when the fastening region has been inserted into an opening in the head. The valve body laterally has a double groove in the fastening region that includes two grooves that follow one another longitudinally and that a sealing lug facing away from the longitudinal axis separates to allow the head to be pressed gas-tightly with the fastening region in the double groove region when the fastening region is introduced into the head.

摘要: A cryogenic tank, or a support structure of a cryogenic tank, is constructed from a number of panels of aluminum extrusion sheets having integrated in-line cooling channels. These channels carry a cooling fluid to absorb heat from the contents of the cryogenic tank, thus cooling the contents. Boil-off vapor from contents of the cryogenic tank or cold helium from another tank may be circulated through the channels to maintain temperatures of the contents in the cryogenic tank, which may be a propellant such as liquid oxygen or liquid hydrogen.

摘要: Disclosed is a device for storing and supplying cryogenic fluid, in particular an on-board device for storing and supplying liquefied hydrogen, which device comprises a cryogenic storage tank for storing liquefied fluid, a bleed-off circuit, and a system for pressurizing the tank comprising a pressurizing duct having two ends respectively connected to the upper and lower portions of the tank, a vaporizing heat exchanger and a set of one or more valves configured so as to allow liquid to be bled from the tank, to be heated in the heat exchanger and to be fed back into the tank; the system for pressurizing the tank being configured so as to bleed off a predetermined volume of fluid from the tank, to store and to isolate this volume in the vaporizing heat exchanger until the volume of fluid reaches predetermined temperature and/or pressure conditions prior to reinjecting the volume of fluid into the tank; the pressurizing duct comprising a member for limiting the flow rate and/or the pressure of the volume of reinjected fluid.

摘要: The present invention relates, inter alia, to a method for storing a medium, in particular a gas, in a pressure storage device (31), wherein, in a preferred embodiment, a dynamic operating pressure, which is dependent on measured temperature values and up to which the medium can be stored in the pressure storage device (31), is determined. In particular, the invention allows dynamic storing of medium in the pressure storage device (31) in respect of the storage pressure, in particular the operating pressure, with a simple design. This is achieved by the dynamic operating pressure being determined, in particular calculated, on the basis of dynamic reference temperature values as a function of time. The method is preferably carried out in an energy system (10), having at least one energy source device (21) for generating a medium and a pressure storage device (31), spatially separated therefrom, for storing the generated medium.

The storage circuit comprises a storage pipe network connecting each compressor to each container and at least one storage distributor for selectively associating the compressors and the containers. The filling circuit includes a filling pipe network connecting each container with each compressor and a filling distributor for selectively associating the containers and the compressors. The station further includes control means for controlling the storage and filling distributors.

摘要: A subsurface storage container for a volume of a small molecular gas. An outer casing is axially aligned with an inner liner to define an annulus filled with a non-hardening, incompressible liquid. Sealing assemblies respectively seal upper and lower ends of the annulus and an interior storage space within the inner liner. In some embodiments, the interior storage space stores hydrogen gas at a pressure of about 10,000 psi or higher, and the liquid in the annulus comprises propylene glycol at a selected concentration which is pre-charged at a pressure such as around 3,000 psi. The liquid transfers compressive force from the inner liner to the outer casing to facilitate motor vehicle refueling operations without the need for a compressor to provide the gas at required delivery pressures. The storage container may be arranged into a group or pod that is supported by a support member over a well bore.
