摘要： The invention relates to a method and device for unclogging the top surface of the tube plate of a steam generator comprising, in a cylindrical vessel, a bundle of bent tubes of inverted U-shape and connected to a tube plate. The unclogging is achieved by two water jets under high pressure coming from projection heads and which can be directed towards the tube plate. These two water jets are moved simultaneously and symetrically with respect to the diametric boundary line of two zones in the form of a semi-circle on the tube plate. At the same time the detached sludge is removed by aspiration of this sludge throughout the length of the peripheral zone of the tube plate.

摘要： Removal of concentrated suspended particulate material from the recirculating carry-over water in a nuclear steam generator is provided by establishing a mud drum or reservoir of relatively quiescent water, permitting the concentrated solids contained therein to settle out prior to returning the water for mixing with the feedwater. Baffles in the mud drum intercept the entering carry-over water in a manner such that only a small portion of it is exchanged by the newly entering water so that, for the most part, there is sufficient residence time in a relatively quiescent environment to settle out the solids.

摘要： Apparatus for removing sludge that may be deposited on a tubesheet of a steam generator comprises fluid headers at the elevation of the sludge to be removed for establishing a circumferential fluid stream at that elevation. A fluid lance is also provided for being moved along the line between the headers emitting a pulsating fluid jet perpendicular to a line of movement of the fluid lance at an elevation substantially corresponding to the level of sludge deposits. The fluid jet forces the sludge to the periphery of the tubesheet where the sludge is entrained in and carried away by the circumferential fluid stream.

摘要： A method and apparatus is disclosed for inducing reverse circulation of the fluid on the secondary side of a steam generator of the type including an outer vessel and a vapor generation chamber having an annular baffle means dividing the chamber into an outer annular downcomer passage and an inner riser section. A quantity of gas is introduced into the lower end of the annular downcomer passage and allowed to bubble up the downcomer passage, thus creating a region of fluid density in the downcomer less than the fluid density in the inner riser section. The density differential therebetween induces a natural circulation of the fluid down the riser section and up through the downcomer passage.

摘要： The passages in the wall of a refuse burning furnace for supplying combustion air thereto run an apparent risk of being clogged by particles of solid matter carried by the combustion gases. In order to remove such deposits a sleeve is fitted into the each passage, and is connected to a driving means designed to impart a reciprocatory forwards and backwards movement thereto. A scraper ring may be fitted inside the sleeve to support the pushing out action, and air for cooling purposes may be supplied to the clearance between the wall of the passage and the sleeve.
