    摘要: An electronic test node (1) for a safety chain (22) in a passenger conveyor system includes an electrical connection (2) for an associated safety switch (4). A processor (6) is configured to monitor a signal carried by the electrical connection (2) so as to detect whether the associated safety switch (4) is open or closed. The electronic test node (1) further includes a test switch (8) connected in series with the electrical connection (2), wherein the processor (6) is configured to run a test by selectively opening the test switch (8) and monitoring for a change in the signal carried by the electrical connection (2).

The control unit determines a stuck-closed fault of the first or second positive relays based on the first and second detection values and a first threshold.

    摘要: A tester for a relay comprises an enclosure, a testing circuit that includes a controller, electronic switch components, a power source, indicator LEDs, a test start switch, a relay selector switch, and five electric leads each connected with one terminal of the relay. With the relay selector switch toggled to indicate the type of relay being tested, with power supplied to each lead, and with the test start switch actuated, the controller sets each lead to ground, in turn, and then count the number of other leads that are grounded as a result. The controller then illuminates the at least one indicator to indicate either the passing relay test or the failed relay test based on the counts measured. Once the leads connected to the relay coil are identified, cyclic testing of the relay can be performed.

    摘要: A system and method are provided for operating a power generating asset having a generator operably coupled to a power grid. The generator having a rotor and a stator. The stator being operably coupled to a transformer, and ultimately to the power grid, via a sync-switch assembly. The sync-switch assembly having a plurality of switching devices electrically coupled in parallel. Accordingly, a controller detects an approach of at least one operating parameter of the power generating asset to a first parameter threshold. In response to detecting the approach of the operating parameter to the first parameter threshold, the controller independently changes an operating state of a first switching device of the plurality of switching devices of the sync-switch assembly. Each switching device of the plurality of switching devices is independently controllable via the controller.
