    摘要: An electrophoresis display panel includes a plurality of first sub-pixels, a plurality of second sub-pixels, a plurality of third sub-pixels, and a plurality of white sub-pixels. The first sub-pixels, the second sub-pixels, and the third sub-pixels are suitable for irradiating different light of three primary colors, respectively, while the white sub-pixels are suitable for irradiating white light. Each of the first sub-pixels does not adjoin the second sub-pixels and the third sub-pixels. Each of the second sub-pixels does not adjoin the third sub-pixels. Each of the first sub-pixels adjoins the white sub-pixels exclusively or adjoins the white sub-pixels and other first sub-pixels exclusively.

The gate voltages of the pull-down transistor switches are switched periodically between the high and low level of the clock signals. During the output period, the transistor switches have negative gate-source voltages so as to reduce leakage.

    摘要: An LCD device includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix. Each pixel includes a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel. Each of the first and second sub-pixels includes a liquid crystal capacitor and a storage capacitor. A capacitance ratio of the liquid crystal capacitor to the storage capacitor in the first sub-pixel is smaller than that in the second sub-pixel. In a first pixel and a second pixel among all the pixels, the first sub-pixel of the first pixel and the first sub-pixel of the second pixel are staggered, and the second sub-pixel of the first pixel and the second sub-pixel of the second pixel are staggered.

The portable electronic device may also include an ambient light detecting unit and a control unit. The control unit receives a luminance value corresponding to detected ambient light from the ambient light detecting unit, compares the luminance value with an ambient light level threshold and increases the difference in luminance between neighboring fields of an image being displayed by the display when the luminance exceeds the ambient light level threshold.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates, according to some embodiments, to compositions and devices operable for infra-red transmission and blocking comprising a layered structure having a first electrically conducting layer, a conjugated electrochromic polymer layer, an electrolyte layer and a second electrically conducting layer, wherein the first and second electrically conducting layers have an infrared transparency and the conjugated electrochromic polymers may be operable to be electrically switched between a transparent state that transmits infrared light to an opaque state that does not transmit infrared light. In some embodiments, a device of the disclosure may also have one or more outer substrates sandwiching the other layers. Some embodiments relate to single-layered devices. Some embodiments relate to combined layers. Compositions and devices of the disclosure may be integrated into a wide variety of infrared systems for transmission, shuttering and calibration applications.
