摘要： A slide switch construction including at least two spaced apart contacts positioned on a base with a slider and bridging contactor assembly attached to the base in a manner such that the assembly is movable over the base for changing switch positions. The bridging contactor comprises a strip of resilient material defining an elongated bridging portion with at least one spring arm extending outwardly from the bridging portion. An engaging surface is defined by the slider for engagement with the spring arm to bend the spring arm relative to the bridging portion when the assembly is attached to the base thereby achieving pressing of the bridging portion against the contacts. Hanger means are defined by the contactor and by the slider to serve as means for holding the slider and contactor together when the assembly is separated from the base.

摘要： An auxiliary interlock switch for a DC contactor has a reciprocable one-piece insulating contact carrier and plural bridging contacts interchangeably mounted thereon in alternative positions to provide different desired arrangements of normally open and normally closed contact sets with the stationary contact posts. The contact carrier has a return spring compressed within a spring-receiving cavity and elongated abutment-receiving apertures registering with opposite ends of said cavity through which an abutment member, that is releasably assembled to the contact carrier, may interchangeably freely extend to permit relative movement therebetween and against which one end of the return spring reacts to resiliently bias the contact carrier against reciprocation in one direction. The bridging contacts may be easily removed in the field and reassembled in desired contact configuration and are of resilient metal with bifurcated ends having "chisel" surfaces which provide high unit area contact pressure and plural points of engagement with each stationary contact post to thereby increase electrical reliability.

摘要： A miniature multipole double-throw switch designed for plug-in connection with printed circuit boards comprises a shallow, insulated housing containing a plurality of separate switches in an in-line arrangement. Each switch comprises three terminal pins having fixed in-line contacts, and a slidable switch pole shiftable linearly between the two pairs of terminal-pin contacts. The switch pole has a central bridge portion provided integrally at each end with a pair of spring blades in a V-arrangement for slidably embracing the selected pairs of fixed contacts. A slidable, insulated holder for the switch pole has a detent arm which coacts with a side wall of the housing to detent the switch in its respective positions.

摘要： A switch in which the U-shaped slide actuator that is employed for each switching stage of the switch fits over the contacts of the switching stage so as to slide back and forth in order to operate the switching stage is disclosed. At each switching stage one of the leads is L-shaped with a contact area, while the other is L-shaped with an S-shaped contact section. In assembly of the switch, a plurality of such leads are formed on a single stamped sheet and the base of the switch is split into two halves, one half of which is molded over one set of leads; and the other half of which is molded over the other set of leads. The leads are then cut away from the remainder of the stamped sheets and the two halves of the base are secured together. A cover may be snapped onto the top of the switch so that automatic insertion equipment can pick up the switch by suction for automatic insertion of the leads of the switch into a printed circuit board.

摘要： A miniature slide switch has a housing dish with side wall portions and stationary contacts mounted thereon. A saddle-shaped contact slide having movable contacts is pushed along the side wall portions to make and break contact with the stationary contacts. The slide has at least one elastic saddle side wall with an abutment surface extending therefrom. At least one protrusion extending from the housing dish and adjacent the side wall engages with the abutment surface. Flexure of the side wall permits the abutment surface to pass as the slide passes from one contact portion to another.
