Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus transmits a beacon frame during a beacon transmission interval (BTI), receives a transmission sector sweep (SSW) frame from another wireless communication apparatus, during a beamforming training (BFT) period following the BTI, extracts, in a case where information relating to a discovery request is included in the transmission SSW frame, information relating to a first transmission sector that is selected by the other wireless communication apparatus from among the transmission SSW frames, selects a second transmission sector from transmission sectors used by the other wireless communication apparatus, the transmission sectors being included in the transmission SSW frames, transmits a feedback frame including information regarding the selected second transmission sector, using the first transmission sector during the BFT period, and transmits a probe response frame including information regarding the selected second transmission sector, using the first transmission sector, during a data transmission period following the BFT period.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for reporting channel state information. Abstract: A decoding system decodes a video stream, which is encoded video information. The decoding system includes a decoder that acquires the video steam and generates decoded video information, and a maximum luminance information acquirer that acquires, in a case where a dynamic range of luminance of the video stream is a second dynamic range that is wider than a first dynamic range, maximum luminance information indicating the maximum luminance of the video stream from the video stream. The decoding system also includes an outputter that outputs the decoded video information and the maximum luminance information. Where the dynamic range of luminance of the video stream is expressed by the maximum luminance of all pictures in the video stream as the maximum luminance information, the outputter outputs the decoded video information, along with the maximum luminance information indicating the maximum luminance of all pictures in the video stream.

Abstract: A transmission method is provided for a communication system in which communications using a plurality of communication methods having different transmission parameters are performed at the same frequency (in frequency bands that at least partially overlap with each other). The transmission method includes: generating a first symbol group that includes a control symbol for causing a communication partner apparatus to recognize that communication using a first communication method is to be performed and a second symbol group that includes a data symbol for the first communication method; transmitting the first symbol group at a first transmit power; and transmitting the second symbol group at a second transmit power that is smaller than the first transmit power.
