Abstract: A bidirectional bridge for web view is a technical solution to an engineering challenge associated with presenting external content in a web view. A bidirectional bridge for web view facilitates bidirectional communication between the web view included in the messaging client and the messaging client itself. In response to a user action requesting a web page to be loaded in the web view, the bidirectional bridge initiates a request to messaging client to retrieve external content, receives the requested external content from the messaging client, and displays an image representing the external content in the web view as part of the web page.

Processor receives selection of first selectable version of the first avatar and generates a map interface that includes a map display based on the location information and the first selectable version of the first avatar. Processor causes the map interface to be displayed on at least one of the plurality of client devices. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Systems, and methods for predicting that a user is located at a labeled place corresponding to a point of interest. A server computer accesses historical data comprising location data, and wireless network data collected from a plurality of client devices of a plurality of users over a period of time. For one or more labeled places, the data points corresponding to one of the users being located at the labeled place are identified. A labeled dataset is generated by tagging the identified data points with a label corresponding to the corresponding labeled place. A machine learning model is trained on the labeled dataset, so that when current location data are receiving from a client device of a user, it is possible to determine, using the trained machine learning model, whether the user is located at one of the one or more labeled places.

Abstract: Method of performing acoustic zooming starts with microphones capturing acoustic signals associated with video content. Beamformers generate beamformer signals using the acoustic signals. Beamformer signals correspond respectively to tiles of video content. Each of the beamformers is respectively directed to a center of each of the tiles. Target enhanced signal is generated using beamformer signals. Target enhanced signal is associated with a zoom area of video content. Target enhanced signal is generated by identifying the tiles respectively having at least portions that are included in the zoom area, selecting beamformer signals corresponding to identified tiles, and combining selected beamformer signals to generate target enhanced signal. Combining selected beamformer signals may include determining proportions for each of the identified tiles in relation to the zoom area and combining selected beamformer signals based on the proportions to generate the target enhanced signal. The virtual wave creation system creates a warped wave video including a sequence of the generated warped wave images.
