Abstract: A color temperature sensor assembly comprising a sensor body, a substantially dome shaped diffuser extending through an opening in the sensor body, a substantially flat diffuser disposed within the sensor body below the first diffuser, and a color temperature sensing module disposed below the flat diffuser and adapted to detect a color temperature of light collected by the dome shaped diffuser and the flat diffuser. The shape of the dome diffuser helps capture light from all angles to bring in more light to the sensor and provide more accurate readings. The secondary flat diffuser is adapted to further diffuse the light to reduce light concentration and prevent inaccurate readings. The color temperature readings from the color temperature sensor assembly may be used to control at least one lighting load.

Abstract: A touch control panel assembly defining a plurality of touch buttons each adapted to control at least one function of at least one associated load. The touch control panel assembly comprises a front panel assembly adapted to removably attach to a rear panel assembly. The rear panel assembly comprises a user interface board comprising a plurality of touch sensing fields disposed at locations corresponding to the plurality of touch buttons to detect user input through the front panel. The user interface also comprises a plurality of light sources to provide backlighting to the touch buttons. The front panel assembly comprises a front panel and a frame comprising a frame wall attached to a rear surface of the front panel. The frame wall comprises a plurality of openings extending therethrough at locations corresponding to the touch buttons that define a plurality of label compartments. A plurality of removable labels each adapted to be inserted into and retained by one of the label compartment with indicia disposed thereon to define the respective touch button perceivable through the front surface of the front panel at least when the respective light source is turned on.

Abstract: A control system is disclosed that includes a room controller transmitting signals to both a shade control network and a light control network, directing that motorized roller shades and dimmable lights be set to desired intensity levels. The control system further includes an intelligent hub that provides a trickle-charge re-charge current via power-over-Ethernet cables to batteries associated with each of the motorized roller shades for re-charging the batteries, thereby eliminating power supplies being installed within walls. The intelligent hub provides for communication with the room controller based on streaming protocol and with the shade control network based on event-based protocol. A computer running user interface software may be connected to the system to facilitate programming.
