摘要: A security management system includes a fusion engine which “fuses” or assembles information from multiple data sources and analyzes this information in order to detect relationships between raw events that may indicate malicious behavior and to provide an organized presentation of information to consoles without slowing down the processing performed by the data sources. The multiple data sources can comprise sensors or detectors that monitor network traffic or individual computers or both. The sensors can comprise devices that may be used in intrusion detection systems (IDS). The data sources can also comprise firewalls, audit systems, and other like security or IDS devices that monitor data traffic in real-time. The present invention can identify relationships between one or more real-time, raw computer events as they are received in real-time. The fusion engine can also assess and rank the risk of real-time raw events as well as mature correlation events.

摘要: A process of pre-applying a vapor, water and ice layer to a sheathing panel before the sheathing panel is assembled onto rafters of a roof is disclosed, comprising the steps of positioning a face of the sheathing panel for accessibility, removing a plastic film from the vapor, water and ice layer, thereby exposing an adhesive surface of the vapor, water and ice layer, joining the adhesive surface of the vapor, and water and ice layer to the face of the sheathing panel to form an assembly, thereafter, transporting the assembly to the roof, and securing the assembly to the rafters of the roof. An article of manufacture for reducing water and ice damage caused by an ice dam on a roof is disclosed, wherein the article of manufacture is pre-assembled prior to assembly to rafters of the roof, comprising a sheathing panel for assembling on the rafters of the roof having a first face and a second face, a vapor, water and ice layer having a first side and a second side, the second side having a plastic film covering an adhesive backing, means for removing the plastic film to expose the adhesive backing and means for assembling the vapor, water and ice layer to the sheathing panel, wherein the second side of the vapor, water and ice layer having the adhesive backing is placed onto the first face of sheathing panel before assembly of the sheathing panel to the rafters of the roof.

摘要: A gaming device with multiple independent games. Each independent game has its own pay table independent of other additional games. Combined sets of independent games also have independent pay tables. In one embodiment, one independent game is threes reels on a five reel video slot machine and another independent game is four reels on the same five reel video slot machine. In another embodiment, pay lines of different length and location represent an independent game. A wager made by the player in any of the independent games is separate from a wager in other independent games.

摘要: In one aspect, a grate segment for a burner, comprises a substantially rigid body (30) having a dispersed array of cavities (38) filled with a refractory material. In another aspect, a solid fuel gasifier includes a housing (12) defining a gasifier chamber (14), and a solid fuel inlet (21), grate structure (22, 24) in the gasifier chamber. The grate structure includes base means, a plurality of agitator segments (32) positioned relative to the base means for reciprocating movement to agitate a fuel load in the gasifier, and means to support the base means and the agitator segments so that the latter reciprocate in a direction at a substantial inclination to both horizontal and vertical. In use of the gasifier a deep burden of fuel accumulates on the grate structure and the outward stroke of the reciprocation of the agitator elements is in the overall direction of flow of the fuel burden or generally oppositely thereto.

摘要: A dispenser for sheet materials includes a top portion, a bottom portion, and a restraining member preventing the top and bottom portion from separating. The top portion and the bottom portion can telescope to vary the dispenser's overall height. In one embodiment, by designing a dispenser having bottom sidewalls and top sidewalls of approximately the same length, problems with access to the exposed sheet or excessive manipulation to change the dispenser's height can be avoided. In another embodiment, by designing the dispenser such that the height of the dispenser can automatically reduce as the sheet material is depleted or where the height can be adjusted by simply pushing down on the dispenser's top makes the dispenser convenient to use.

摘要: A panel connecting device consists of a first member having a base, at least two successive extending elements extending from the base, each of the elements having a thinner portion near the base and a thicker portion at the end of the element. In between the thinner portion and the thicker portion may be an flange portion which gradually widens in the direction of the thicker portion. Thus, a cavity is formed between adjacent extending elements. The cavity is dimensioned to receive an element the size of the extending elements. The panel connecting device also consists of a second member that is substantially similar to the first member. The second member interacts with the first member such that a connection is formed by sliding at least one of the extending elements of the first member into at least one of the cavities between the extending elements of the second member and reciprocally sliding at least one of the extending elements of the second member into at least one of the cavities between the extending elements of the first member. The connection is maintained by mating the thicker portion of the extending elements of the first member with the thinner portion of the extending elements of the second member and mating the thicker portion of the extending elements of the second member with the thinner portion of the extending elements of the first member. The panel connecting device forms a reusable joint to support an external load of panel-type material.
