Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for managing integrity of a field asset. A request for managing the integrity of the field asset is received by a handheld device. A set of integrity data essential for resolution of the request is captured by the handheld device. One or more workflows, cross referenced from one or more existing engineering processes, are executed and a set of fitness for service evaluations are performed on the captured set of integrity data, during the execution of the one or more workflows. A report of the received request is created, when the one or more workflows are executed completely.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a mobile device comprising a core phone with a detachable primary device. The core phone transfers an incoming call alert to the detached primary device by synchronizing the display frame buffer of the core phone with the display frame buffer associated with the detached primary device. A plurality of remote secondary devices can be paired with the core phone on request by said secondary devices to transfer an incoming call alert to said plurality of secondary devices and establish a connection after authorization with said detached primary device. The detachable primary device is usable by pairing with the core phone when the core phone is not used directly but remains in the vicinity. Important data in the primary device is synchronized with the core phone to avoid data loss when the primary device is accidentally dropped or lost or damaged.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method providing access of one or more heterogeneous digital contents to at least one online Digital Rights Management (DRM) user by a DRM server. This invention involves receiving digital contents from the publishers and those digital contents are encrypted and user rights are granted to access the contents by the publisher. The DRM server stores the decryption information, user rights and user information in a repository. After authenticating the user who is connected with the DRM server through a DRM client, the DRM server sends a license to the DRM user which includes the decryption information and the user rights. The DRM client decrypts the contents based on the license information in the memory of the user's computer device and thus the content and the license are not locally stored.

Abstract: Systems and methods for multi-dimensional object detection are described. Embodiments disclose receiving image frames, extracting image components in the image frame, identifying line segments in the extracted components, grouping the line segments into groups, based at least in part on one or more similarities between the slope associated with a line segment and the spatial proximity between the line segments, and merging each of the one or more identified line segments in a selected group into a single line segment. Embodiments additionally disclose detecting the position of one or more objects in the image frame by identifying objects in the image frame, producing a second version of the image frame, applying at least one image classifier to the image frame and the second version of the image frame, and identifying coordinates associated with at least one target object. Some embodiments additionally couple lane and object detection with alert generation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for replication of test results in a network environment are disclosed. Methods described may include recording network traffic in a first instance of a test case by a network emulator node emplaced in the network environment, recording a time at which a connection open at the network emulator node completes a communication task, and deriving an order of task completion for each extant open connection thereby, and detecting the occurrence of one or more events, such as a packet drop, a packet retransmission, or a packet delay, among other events. Replication, as described, additionally involves recording the nature of the event and identification information associated with the packet to which the event is detected to have occurred; and associating the one or more events with each of the packets recorded, on the basis of the identification information and event recording.

Abstract: Cloud-based testing of applications allows an application under test (AUT) to be subjected to test loads mimicking expected high volume real-time production loads. Test loads can be applied from geographically distributed test load sources. During testing, the system can monitor usage of AUTs and the underlying cloud infrastructure (virtual machines, test servers, etc.) on which the AUT is executing. An AUT can be scaled, for instance, additional instances of the application can be started, and additional virtual machines can be configured and test servers provisioned if AUT or infrastructure usage exceeds specified thresholds during testing. A testing services provider can supply a web-based unified management console from which admins and test users can manage AUT testing.
