Abstract:
The present invention provides a dielectric waveguide resonator comprising a pair of rectangular parallelepiped-shaped dielectric blocks being in contact with each other through respective contact surfaces thereof. The dielectric waveguide resonator has an outer periphery coated with an electrically conductive film except for the contact surfaces, and is configured to resonate in a TE mode. A probe composed of an electrically conductive film is formed on at least one of the contact surface. Thus, it becomes possible to provide a dielectric waveguide resonator having a simple structure, requiring no adjustment structure, and comprising a structure for conversion between a dielectric waveguide and a coaxial line.

A laminated electronic component is configured such that insulator layers and conductor patterns are laminated and a coil is formed in a laminate of the insulator layers and the conductor patterns by connecting the conductor patterns among the insulator layers, where the coil includes conductor pattern pairs each composed of two conductor patterns arranged so as to sandwich each insulator layer, and includes a first connecting portion connecting both end portions of the two conductor patterns so as to connect the two connecting patterns in parallel and a second connecting portion connecting a plurality of the conductor pattern pairs in series, where the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are arranged so as to be displaced from each other in a direction of a line length of a coil pattern.
Abstract:
Process for producing a surface-mount inductor. A forming die assembly comprises a lower die, a first upper die having three peripheral side surfaces and one opening, and a second upper die for closing the first upper die opening, thereby defining a cavity therein. The coil is formed by winding a wire and processing its led-out end such that it contacts with a side surface of the first and second upper dies. The coil is placed in the cavity from the open side of the first upper die such that its led-out end contacts with a side surface of the first and second upper dies. The coil is sealed with a sealant containing a magnetic powder while the first and second upper dies are clamped together, to form the core. An external electrode is formed on the core and the led-out end of the coil is connected to the external electrode.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a waveguide-type dielectric filter, which comprises a dielectric block, a plurality of resonators formed in the dielectric block, and a coupling portion for adjusting the coupling between the adjacent resonators. The dielectric block includes a pair of dielectric substrates which are divided in the arranging direction of the resonators and joined together through joint surfaces thereof, and a slot formed between the joint surfaces. The slot defines a through-hole severing as the coupling portion between the adjacent resonators. The slot may be formed in each of the joint surfaces or may be formed in only one of the joint surfaces. The above dielectric filter may include input and output sections, and a conductive film may be formed between the joint surfaces to provide a coupling portion of the input or output section. The present invention can provide a waveguide-type dielectric filter capable of being readily produced without causing any problem of mechanical strength.
Abstract:
It is an object of the present invention to provide a solid-state image pickup device capable of preventing any output variation due to a threshold voltage variation, and preventing a dynamic range from being narrowed in conjunction with deterioration in outputs due to a lowered threshold voltage. The present invention provides improvements in type and connection of a reset transistor, a select transistor, and an amplifier transistor to achieve the above object. Specifically, the present invention provides a solid-state image pickup device comprising a first MOS transistor serving as a reset switch, a second MOS transistor serving as a select switch, a photodiode, and a third MOS transistor having a source connected in series with the photodiode. In this solid-state image pickup device, the first and second MOS transistors are connected in series with one another between a voltage source and an output end, and the photodiode and the third MOS transistor are connected in series with one another between a voltage source and a ground. Further, the connection point between the first and second MOS transistors is connected to the gate of the third MOS transistor.
Abstract:
In a slide switch of the class comprising three terminal members arranged in the same plane on a casing and a first contact member carried by a slide member whereby the switching of a pair of circuits is effected by moving the slide member so as to cause the first contact member to bridge the center terminal member and either one of the outer terminal members, there are provided a pair of transition terminal members on the casing and a second contact member mounted on the slide member to cooperate with the transition terminal members. The main terminal members, transition terminal members and the first and second contact members are positioned with respect to each other such that the transition terminal members and the second contact member maintain a circuit in a closed state from an instant immediately prior to the disengagement of the first contact member from one of the outer terminal members to an instant immediately after the engagement of the first contact member with the other outer terminal member.

Abstract:
A WINDING FOR CREATING CAPACITANCE IS WOUND PARALLELLY TOGETHER WITH A PART OF A TUNING COIL OF A TUNED TRANSFORMER TO PRODUCE A DISTRIBUTED CAPACITANCE BETWEEN THE TERMINALS OF THE TUNNG COIL, AND POINTS IN THE WINDING AND COIL OF RESPECTIVELY DIFFERENT POTENTIAL ARE CONNECTED TO INCREASE THE DISTRIBUTED CAPACITANCE, WHICH IS SUITABLE COM-
BINATION WITH THE INDUCTANCE OF THE TUNING COIL PRODUCES A DESIRED RESONANCE FREQUENCY WITHOUT THE USE OF AN EXTERNAL TUNING CAPACITOR. CONSISTENTLY CONSTANT DISTRIBUTED CAPACITANCE IS OBTAINED IN PRODUCTION.
