A positioning machine includes a base, a support portion mounted on the base for supporting a workpiece and a first positioning mechanism received in the recessed portion. The base defines a recessed portion. Two sidewalls of the recessed portion respectively define a pair of first tracks. The first positioning mechanism includes a first motor, a first coupler, a first positioning block, a first screw rod, and a first nut movably mounted over the first screw rod and fixed to a low surface of the support portion. The first coupler is forced by the first motor to drive the first screw rod to rotate to drive the first nut to move along the first screw rod, causing the support portion to be moved along the first tracks, and the workpiece to be moved in a predetermined position relative to the base.

An electronic device includes a database, a display, and several program modules executable by a processor. The program modules include a query receiving module to receive a search query from a user, a query analyzing module to analyze the received search query and determine a content of interest associated with the search query and associated content associated with the content of interest. Also include are a search module to search for the content of interest and associated content associated with the content of interest in the database, a sorting module to sort the search results retrieved by the search module according to the number of times that the search has been conducted before, and a result presenting module to present the sorted search results according to a screen size of the display.

A distributed data management method implemented by a cloud computing device, the cloud computing device is in communication with a plurality of client devices through a network. Basic information of various data of the client devices are received and stored by the cloud computing device through the network. Whether a first client device is authorized to access a target data is verified, when the first client device requests access to the target data through the cloud computing device. The target data is acquired from a second client device according to the basic information of the target data, and the acquired data is transmitted to the first client device through the network, upon the condition that the first client device is authorized to access the target data.
Abstract:
An electronic device with time update function includes a radio module, a clock module, an audio input port, a storage module, and a processing module. The radio module receives and outputs audible signals from the broadcasts of a broadcasting station. The audio input port receives audible sound generated by the radio module, and the clock module provides a source of real time. The processing module determines whether the signals received by the audio input port include current time information, and if so whether the system time is consistent with the current time information. The processing module updates the stored initial time with the current time information and adjusts the system time as necessary. A time update method is also provided.

The disclosure provides a process whereby an image processing device may isolate an outline of an object from an image, and a method adapted for the image processing device. When the image processing device 1 defines a pixel point as a boundary point of an object, the image processing device 1 continues to search for an adjacent boundary point. When the image processing device 1 defines a pixel point as a non-boundary point of the image, the image processing device 1 continues to search for a boundary point from predetermined pixel points until all boundary points have been found unless it is determined that the image does not include an object.

An apparatus for displaying sub page content includes a display unit, a storage unit, and a processing unit. The apparatus communicates with a network server. The processing unit obtains a webpage from the network server and one or more sub pages linked to the webpage. The display unit displays a first window for displaying label of each sub page designating a type which is binding with each sub page. The processing unit controls the display unit to display a second window for displaying the sub page content of the label displayed on the first window which is determined to be selected according to whether operation position of user's operation performed on the first window is on the area of the label of sub page displayed. A related method is also provided.
Abstract:
A system and a method of detecting abnormal or security-significant segments of a video are provided. The video is divided into several segments. A set of features of each segment of the video is extracted in order to calculate a set of factors corresponding to each segment. A value deemed abnormal of each segment is calculated according to the set of factors corresponding to each segment. One or more abnormal segments are determined from the segments based on the abnormal values. The set of features includes a color variable feature, a movement variable feature, a movement variable ratio feature and a background variable feature.

A data converter includes a signal input port, a processing unit, and an output port. The signal input port includes a number of ports for connecting to corresponding ports of an electronic device and receiving waveform signals from the electronic device. The processing unit includes a port detection module for detecting which port of the signal input port is receiving the waveform signals and a data conversion module including a number of conversion sub-modules, each conversion sub-module corresponds to one port of the signal input port. When the port detection module detects the port receiving the waveform signals, the conversion sub-module corresponding to the detected port is enabled and converts the waveform signals to digital data. Then the output port outputs the digital data to a computer, and the communication state of the port of the electronic device is analyzed via the computer based on the digital data.

A remote server in electronic communication with a data center for testing one or more different types of electronic devices and method automatically tests one or more electronic devices. The data center stores a plurality of test programs correspondingly designed to test different types of electronic device. The remote server download one or more specified test programs corresponding to the electronic devices from the data center according to an identification code of each electronic device. The remote server tests the electronic devices by running the corresponding test programs.
