摘要： A positioning machine includes a base, a support portion mounted on the base for supporting a workpiece and a first positioning mechanism received in the recessed portion. The base defines a recessed portion. Two sidewalls of the recessed portion respectively define a pair of first tracks. The first positioning mechanism includes a first motor, a first coupler, a first positioning block, a first screw rod, and a first nut movably mounted over the first screw rod and fixed to a low surface of the support portion. The first coupler is forced by the first motor to drive the first screw rod to rotate to drive the first nut to move along the first screw rod, causing the support portion to be moved along the first tracks, and the workpiece to be moved in a predetermined position relative to the base.

摘要： An electronic device with time update function includes a radio module, a clock module, an audio input port, a storage module, and a processing module. The radio module receives and outputs audible signals from the broadcasts of a broadcasting station. The audio input port receives audible sound generated by the radio module, and the clock module provides a source of real time. The processing module determines whether the signals received by the audio input port include current time information, and if so whether the system time is consistent with the current time information. The processing module updates the stored initial time with the current time information and adjusts the system time as necessary. A time update method is also provided.

摘要： A data converter includes a signal input port, a processing unit, and an output port. The signal input port includes a number of ports for connecting to corresponding ports of an electronic device and receiving waveform signals from the electronic device. The processing unit includes a port detection module for detecting which port of the signal input port is receiving the waveform signals and a data conversion module including a number of conversion sub-modules, each conversion sub-module corresponds to one port of the signal input port. When the port detection module detects the port receiving the waveform signals, the conversion sub-module corresponding to the detected port is enabled and converts the waveform signals to digital data. Then the output port outputs the digital data to a computer, and the communication state of the port of the electronic device is analyzed via the computer based on the digital data.

The input unit is configured to generate operation signals in response to user inputs. The audio processing unit is configured to retrieve an audio file when an operation signal from the input unit for playing the audio file is received, decode the audio file, and convert the decoded audio file to analog audio signals. The low pass filter is configured to transmit analog audio signals with heavy bass to at least one vibrator. The at least one vibrator is configured to create physical vibration in response to the analog audio signals with heavy bass to physical vibration.

摘要： The present invention provides a mobile phone for authenticating Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) card and a SIM card authentication method adapted for the mobile phone. Once a SIM card is inserted into the mobile phone, the mobile phone acquires a phone number associated with the inserted SIM card and identifies whether the acquired phone number has been stored in the non-erasable programmable memory of the mobile phone. If yes, the user is legal and can use the mobile phone, if no, then the user is illegal and cannot use the mobile phone. Therefore, the mobile phone protects and hides stored information from the user.

摘要： A monitoring system for monitoring an area, includes an image capturing module, a storage unit, and a processor. The processor controls the image capturing module to capture images within the monitored area to obtain video signal as a series of frames, and compares every two neighboring frames to determine whether the neighboring frames are the similar according to a preset reference level, and stores one of the neighboring frames in the storage unit with the number of the stored frame increased by one if the neighboring frames is determined to be similar, and stores both the neighboring frames in the storage unit if the neighboring frames are determined to be different. A method for storing video obtained by the monitoring system is also provided.
