Abstract: Selection of time-frequency resources, for autonomous mode operation of V2V UEs, may be performed based on measurements of power transmitted by other UEs and received sidelink control information (SCI) transmitted by the other UEs. Based on these measurements, the UE may selectively exclude spectrum resources, from the set of possible resources, to obtain a final set of resources from which the UE may select resources to use for transmitting. In some implementations, the exclusion of the resources may be based on an iterative operation in which a power threshold value is incrementally modified until a candidate number of resources are available. Additionally, in some implementations, UE priority assignments may be used to obtain the power threshold value for a particular UE.

Abstract: User equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry, where to configure the UE for New Radio (NR) communications in an unlicensed spectrum, the processing circuitry is to decode a first configuration message received from a base station, the first configuration message including a channel quality indicator (CQI) table indication identifying a CQI table. A second configuration message is decoded, the second configuration message received separately from the first configuration message and including a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) table indication identifying an MCS table. DCI received via a PDCCH is decoded, the DCI providing a DL grant and an MCS index in the MCS table. DL information received via a PDSCH is decoded using modulation order and target code rate corresponding to the MCS index in the MCS table.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for a user equipment (UE) device that includes one or more processors configured to identify a search space for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates by: determining whether the search space is a group common search space or a UE specific search space; determining a number of PDCCH candidates per aggregation level (AL); determining a PDCCH monitoring periodicity and a PDCCH monitoring offset for the search space, each including a plurality of slots; determining monitored slots in the monitoring periodicity; determining, for each monitored slot, a monitoring pattern including a set of selected symbols; and determining a set of monitoring occasions corresponding to the set of selected symbols in each monitored slot of each monitoring periodicity. The one or more processors are configured to decode downlink signals received in the set of monitoring occasions to search for PDCCH information for the UE.

Abstract: Techniques for adjacent channel interference mitigation are described. In one embodiment, for example, a user equipment (UE) may comprise logic, at least a portion of which is in hardware, the logic to associate the UE with a pico evolved node B (eNB) in a time-division duplex (TDD) picocell, identify an incongruent uplink (UL) sub-frame for the picocell, and select an enhanced UL transmit power for the incongruent UL sub-frame. Abstract: The disclosure describes mechanisms for reliability enhancement on control channel and data channel and mechanisms in URLLC. An apparatus of a RAN node for URLLC includes baseband circuitry to configure at least one DCI for scheduling transmission of at least one PDSCH content having same information. For each DCI, the baseband circuitry determines a CORESET for transmitting the DCI. The disclosure further describes mechanisms for the support of low latency transmission in URLLC. To improve peak data rate and spectrum efficiency in FDD system, the RAN node configures a DCI for scheduling data transmission using blank resources of a self-contained slot structure. Further, CBG-based transmission with separate HARQ-ACK feedback is provided to configure a DCI for scheduling data transmission of a TB and to divide the TB into multiple CBGs, and to configure uplink control data to carry separate HARQ feedback for the CBGs.

Abstract: Systems and methods of providing RAT co-existence and congestion control in V2V communications are generally described. A vUE detects specific non-LTE RAT transmissions in a listening period of a PSCCH or PSSCH, determines whether a metric has been met and reselects to a non-overloaded channel to communicate with other vUEs or the eNB. The manner of reselection is dependent on the RAT specific or V2X service priorities of the channels, as well as whether the channels are V2V service dependent.
