    摘要: Thermoplastic polyphosphonatocarbonates prepared by polycondensing at least one aromatic dihydroxy compound with a diaryl carbonate and a phosphonic acid diaryl ester in the presence of a catalyst selected from the group consisting of (a) tetra-C.sub.1 -C.sub.18 -alkyl titanates, (b) di-C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alkyl-tin oxides, (c) di-C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alkyl-di-C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy-tin compounds, (d) tetra-C.sub.3 -C.sub.18 -alkyl zirconates, (e) tri-C.sub.2 -C.sub.18 -alkyl vanadylates and (f) mixtures of germanium dioxide or titanium dioxide and at least one of (a) to (e) in a weight ratio of 1:3 to 3:1 at a temperature of from 80.degree.-340.degree. C. and under a pressure of 600 to 0.1 mm Hg in an inert gaseous atmosphere, the molar ratio of diaryl carbonate to phosphonic diaryl ester being from 5:95 to 95:5 and the molar ratio of aromatic dihydroxy compound to the sum of diaryl carbonates and phosphonic diaryl ester being from 0.91:1 to 0.99:1.

    摘要: A process for preparing a polyarylene sulphide which comprises reacting(a) dihalogenobenzene consisting of 50 to 100 mol % of a compound of the formula ##STR1## or a compound of the formula ##STR2## or a mixture thereof and of 0 to 50 mol % of a compound of the formula ##STR3## wherein X is halogen and each R is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, alkyl having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl having 5 to 20 carbon atoms, aryl having 6 to 24 carbon atoms, alkaryl having 7 to 24 carbon atoms and aralkyl having 7 to 24 carbon atoms with the proviso that at least one R is other than hydrogen and(b) 0 to 3.0 mol % based on the dihalogenobenzene content of a polyhalogeno aromatic of the formulaArX.sub.n (IV) wherein Ar is an aromatic or heterocyclic radical with 6 to 24 carbon atoms having at least 3 free valencies, X is halogen and n is .gtoreq. 3 with(c) an alkyl metal sulphide in(d) a polar solvent in the presence of(e) 0.05-2.0 mol of alkali metal fluoride per mol of alkali metal sulphide,for a polycondensation time of up to 30 hours and at a polycondensation temperature of between 160.degree. and 295.degree. C., the molar ratio of (a) to (c) being in the range from 0.85:1 to 1.15:1 and the molar ratio of (c) to (d) being in the range of from 1:2 to 1:15.

    摘要: High molecular weight aromatic polycarbonates having molecular weights M.sub.w (weight average) of between about 10,000 and 200,000, which are based on diphenols and monofunctional chain stoppers, which correspond to the general formula ##STR1## in which Z denotes the radical of a diphenol,n denotes an integer from 20 to 400,E denotes ##STR2## m is 0 or 1 and R denotes a hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1 to C.sub.3 alkyl group, and in which between about 0.5 and 5 mol % of Z are radicals of aromatic dihydroxyketones. These polycarbonates share mechanical and thermal properties with known polycarbonates but in addition are suitable for crosslinking, for example in the presence of photoinitiators and optionally photo-reducing agents and under irradiation with UV light. When crosslinked they are resistant to organic solvents and insensitive to stress-cracking, and have particularly good flame-repellent properties when additionally incorporating flameproofing agents.
