The capacitive sensor includes a sensor unit having a first substrate where a plurality of vertical wiring lines is formed and a second substrate where a plurality of horizontal wiring lines is formed, the first and second substrates being disposed in a matrix and facing each other with a gap interposed therebetween, and a capacitance at intersections between the vertical wiring lines and the horizontal wiring lines changed in response to an external pressure; and a detecting unit for detecting the change in capacitance at the intersections between the vertical wiring lines and the horizontal wiring lines, and detecting an externally applied pressure distribution based on the detecting result. According to the present invention there is provided a space coordinates detecting device wherein a detecting section for detecting light emitted from a light source is provided, thereby permitting detection of a relative angle between a light emitting sections and the detecting section and hence permitting application of the detecting device to an input apparatus. The detecting section is provided with a light sensing element 23 having quartered light sensing portions. In the light emitting section, distinguishable lights are emitted from two light sources. The lights thus emitted are throttled through apertures and applied as separate square light spots S16 and S17 to the light-sensitive surface of the light sensing element 23. By calculating a difference in the detected output among the quartered light sensing portions, it is possible to determine the center I1 of the square light spot S16 and the center I2 of the square light spot S17. A relative rotational angle of the light emitting section and the detecting section with respect to Z axis can be determined by calculating an inclination angle .alpha. on X-Y orthogonal coordinates of a line x connecting both centers I1 and I2.

The present invention relates to a cutting tool, especially the cutting tool having a head segment releasably attached to a shank segment. According to one aspect of this invention there is provided a cutting tool comprising: (i) a head segment rotatable around an axis thereof and a forward end portion having at least one cutting-insert receiving seat and a rearward end portion; (ii) a shank segment rotatable around an axis thereof having a forward end portion adapted to be coaxially joined with the rearward end of the head segment and a rearward end portion adapted to be fixedly secured to a machine spindle; (iii) an engaging hole coaxially formed on one of the above segments, which is provided with at least two internal threads communicating between the hole and the external surroundings through a peripheral surface of the segment; (iv) an engaging projection coaxially formed on other one of the segments and engagingly fitted into the hole; and (v) clamp screws respectively threaded through each internal thread, in which bottom ends of the clamp screws are contacted with a surface of the engaging projection.

A raveling-preventing agent for a glass fiber woven fabric, which contains as essential components a reaction product from an epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent of 150 to 1,000 and a molecular weight of 500 to 2,000 and a hydroxyl group-containing amine compound, and an isocyanate curing agent. The raveling-preventing agent firmly binds glass fibers together and prevents the raveling of edge-forming warp yarns when applied to sectioned marginal portions of a glass fiber woven fabric. Further it is free from swelling in a solvent used in a thermosetting resin varnish.
