Abstract: Embodiments of a STA configured for proximity detection by multiple WLAN link tracking are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the STA performs WLAN sensing using two or more WLAN links with one or more other STAs to track a channel state of each link and performs motion detection based on the tracked channel state of each WLAN link to detect motion in any of the WLAN links. If motion is detected in at least some of the WLAN links, the STA may perform proximity detection to indicate proximity by combining results of the WLAN sensing for each link to determine whether the motion is proximate to the STA or proximate to one of the other STAs.

Abstract: An apparatus of a transmitter may include, for example, a Golay builder to build modulated Golay sequences for at least a non-EDMG Short Training Field (L-STF), and a non-EDMG Channel Estimation Field (L-CEF) of a PPDU; a scrambler to generate scrambled bits by scrambling bits of a non-EDMG header (L-header) and a data field of the PPDU; an encoder to encode the scrambled bits into encoded bits according to a low-density parity-check (LDPC) code; a constellation mapper to map the encoded bits into a stream of constellation points according to a constellation scheme; a spreader to spread the stream of constellation points according to a Golay sequence; and a transmit chain mapper to map a bit stream output from the Golay builder and the spreader to a plurality of transmit chains by applying a spatial expansion with relative cyclic shift over the plurality of transmit chains.

Abstract: An access point (AP) configured for wireless local area network (WLAN) sensing is configured to encode a trigger frame (TF) for transmission. The trigger frame allocates resource units (RUs) for receiving high-efficiency (HE) trigger-based (TB) physical-layer protocol data units (PPDUs) (HE TB PPDUs) from a plurality of client devices (non-AP STAs). The trigger frame may solicit each of the client devices to transmit an HE TB PPDU in accordance with an UL OFDMA technique or an UL MU-MIMO technique. The AP may decode the HE TB PPDUs received from the client devices and may estimate channel state information (CSI) for a radio link associated with each of the client devices based on an HE-LTF of an associated one of the HE-TB PPDUs received from one of the client devices. In accordance with these embodiments, the AP may process changes in the CSI of the radio links over time for a WLAN sensing application.

The ADC system includes a 1-bit ADC configured to receive the RF signal, and an ADC controller circuitry configured to measure a number of positive samples in the received RF signal for a plurality of thresholds of the 1-bit ADC, estimate receive signal power associated with the received RF signal based on the measured number of positive samples, determine a direct current(DC) offset in the received RF signal using the estimated received signal power, and adjust the received RF signal based on the determined DC offset.

Abstract: For example, a first Enhanced Directional Multi-Gigabit (DMG) (EDMG) station (STA) may be configured to exchange first and second Beam Refinement Protocol (BRP) setup frames with a second EDMG STA to initiate a BRP Transmit Sector Sweep (TXSS) over an aggregated channel bandwidth including an aggregation of a primary channel and a secondary channel in a frequency band above 45 GHz; during the BRP TXSS, transmit a plurality of BRP frames to the second EDMG STA over the primary channel and the secondary channel according to an EDMG control mode; determine a transmit beamforming configuration over the aggregated channel bandwidth based on BRP feedback from the second EDMG STA; and transmit an EDMG Physical Layer (PHY) Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) to the second EDMG STA over the aggregated channel bandwidth based on the transmit beamforming configuration.
