    摘要: A wellbore cleanup tool is run on slickline. It has an onboard power supply and circulation pump. Inlet flow is at the lower end into an inlet pipe that keeps up fluid velocity. The inlet pipe opens to a surrounding annular volume for sand containment and the fluid continues through a screen and into the pump for eventual exhaust back into the water in the wellbore. A modular structure is envisioned to add debris carrying capacity. Various ways to energize the device are possible. Other tools run on slickline are described such as a cutter, a scraper and a shifting tool.

    摘要: A shifting tool is run on slickline and has an on board power supply. Rotary motion of the motor is converted to linear motion of the shifting tool using a ball screw device. The grip is obtained with longitudinal motion of a grip linkage and an on board jar then can do the shifting. Alternatively a linear motor can be used to extend and retract the grip assembly and shift using the jar tool. Optionally the tool can be anchored and linear motion from the on board power source operating a motor can do the shifting.

    摘要: A lateral exit in a casing is formed by starting with a shaped charge to produce a semi-circular cut of about 180 degrees in the casing. A spreader tool pushes in opposed directions at opposed ends of the cut making some of the casing wall at the cut curl inwardly. A wedge shaped tool is advanced behind the curled metal to force it to collapse on itself to create a long tapered ramp that act as would a whipstock. A one trip operation is contemplated. The drill is then guided by the doubled and tapered casing wall right into the formation without having to mill a window in the casing wall.

    摘要: A casing cutting and recovery tool having a cutting assembly, an expansion assembly having one or more deforming members, and a recovery assembly is used to cut a window in wellbore casing, secure a removable segment of wellbore casing that was previously disposed within the window, and recover the removable segment of wellbore casing with the tool. One or more cutting assemblies provides one or more cuts in the wellbore casing. The deforming members of the expansion assembly then expand outwardly at least two portions of the wellbore casing shaped by the cut or cuts. The recovery assembly secures the removable segment of the wellbore casing to the tool so that the tool and the removable segment of wellbore casing can be recovered together from the wellbore.

    摘要: A through tubing centralizer is delivered below the tubing and expanded against a surrounding tubular for fixation. In a window milling through tubing application, a whipstock is delivered through tubing and anchored. One or more centralizers are then delivered through tubing and expanded so that their inside diameter when set exceeds their outside diameter during run in. They are placed below the tubing and above the whipstock to help a through tubing mill stay on the whipstock ramp while milling the window. After the window is started, the centralizer can be expanded fully against the surrounding tubular to allow subsequent removal of the whipstock. Optionally, the centralizer can be collapsed for removal through tubing.
