    摘要: A hybrid approach for capturing meta data about Business Processing Monitoring (BPM) artifacts is based on a combination of a relational meta data model and a semantic net. Meta data about metrics and situations and their dimensional context are first captured in the method. Then, relational meta data are used to describe a generic data schema for metrics, situations and their dimensional context. The meta data from semantic nets are used to extend the meta data definitions. Data from a data warehouse are searched and managed with the schema described and managed with the relational and semantic net meta data.

The system comprises a first network including one or more devices associated with an end user, at least one device adapted for communicating with a service provider over a second network, the service provider providing network-based services in the system. The system includes a memory storage device for maintaining information of tasks associated with an end user, the information including recommended end-user devices adapted to perform the tasks, the information being accessible to at least one end-user device. At least one end-user device detects non-availability or performance deficiencies of any end-user device required in performing end-user tasks, and communicates with the service provider for invoking network-based services to facilitate correcting non-availability of any end-user device. Such a system, method and computer program product enables students to receive these reminders and alerts, to order the necessary upgrades from suppliers via web services, and to monitor delivery from a single user interface provided on one of their devices.

The business engagement includes one or more business solutions for which a client risk preference level is obtained. One of a plurality of engagement types is also obtained for the business solution(s) based on a business goal for the business solution(s). A pricing model for each business solution is then selected based on the engagement type and the client risk preference level. Further, the pricing model can be selected based on additional factors, such as a provider risk preference level, a business value for the business solution, and/or the like. The pricing model can comprise a risk/gain sharing pricing model having a fixed price and/or variable price pricing structure. Performance data for the business solution can be obtained and used as feedback for future business engagements and/or to implement the risk/gain sharing pricing model.

    摘要: An example embodiment disclosed is a system for automated model extraction of documents containing flow diagrams. An extractor is configured to extract from the flow diagrams flow graphs. The extractor further extracts nodes and edges, and relational, geometric and textual features for the extracted nodes and edges. A classifier is configured to recognize process semantics based on the extracted nodes and edges, and the relational, geometric and textual features of the extracted nodes and edges. A process modeling language code is generated based on the recognized process semantics. Rules to recognize patterns in process diagrams may be determined using supervised learning and/or unsupervised learning. During supervised learning, an expert labels example flow diagrams so that a classifier can derive the classification rules. During unsupervised learning flow diagrams are clustered based on relational, geometric and textual features of nodes and edges.
